@@Rajan-369 Lol are you sure you know what you're talking about? Carl Zeiss is just lens, not just Nokia, most Xperias including this one has it.... it's the sensor that dictates the MegaPixel figure.
Kind of person who don't want to get overloaded with features with every 4 month edition release only to realise that it wasn't worth the money Investment; rather they prefer to buy one good time with an eye to change the phone in 3 to 4 year.
Another average dumb ass who thinks security updates are actually secure things? Android 14 is still as venerable as android 6 , nothing has changed , except stupid features that you can customise yourself 😂. Plus this thing has a dedicated SD card slot , headphones jack support , what more do you want !!!!!!!!!
They already have a X10 Optical Zoom lens using a dedicated telephoto lens. It’s like how camera photographers would swap lenses between shots, but it’s automatic. Since in a phone it would look silly and cumbersome having an actual moving zoom lens outside, Sony use mirrors to mimic a zooming lens inside. Much like a periscope but very small with a tinier sensor than a regular phone sensor.
@@reahs4815telephoto and optical zoom are different things. Samsung uses digital zoom whole zooming between 3x and 10x. Sony uses optical zoom that's the difference.
love this guy! so happy he noticed sonys potential, dad used a sony so its my top device to! best of the best IN MY OPINION. keep up the amazing work buddy. edit: they should have a slogan. i think something like sony powering photography.
The difference is that in this phone, Sony managed to cramp everything inside the phone. But in S4 zoom, it sticks out. Other brands like Asus and Nokia did the same in the past, but the camera bumps was enormous. Sony is the only brand to do this without making the camera bump taking 2 times the actual phone's thickness
Sony been making phones with physical zoom lenses since before smart phones existed. I had one that also had a xenon flash. Glad they still making good gear.
Hey brother… this is really a great video but plz try to concentrate on the camera lens because without it it’s kind of awkward … when u r recording plz don’t look at the camera screen… look at the lens it will give you a better quality view ♥️♥️… lots of love keep growing man ❤❤
SONY as a company has always been on the cutting edge of tech. Trinitron televisions, Walkman portable music devices, and cellular phones with Alien-like technology ahead of its time.
@@Jack_Krauzers he meant Huawei had this periscope zoom for years... And he also means that all high end phones in China use Sony sensors and panels made by Samsung.
In photography “zoom lens” is talking about the ability to change focal length, not about ability to have a tight FoV (telephoto). Phone makers just market fixed telephoto lenses as “zoom” cus it’s easier for regular people to understand
Man I wish Sony's phones weren't simultaneously more expensive and worse than their competitors, because they always bring some really cool features to the table. They're like LG used to be, but in the upper-premium tier
All smartphones uses Sony camera or lens. The Sony phone itself just has the better camera, for a professional. Honestly - the Sony phone would be such a great phone if they also included a "dummy" photo taking camera. As in, like Samsung or iPhone, the photo just turns out good without any work. Sony phones require work.
you definitely doesn't ever look inside one of those galaxy telephoto periscope...they'll have an actual moving lens inside, for reference, you can watch jerryrigeverything s20 ultra tear up video
@@aidizikri95 you dont need to be a technician to know how this works lol, the S20U has a fixed lens, the moving parts are the focusing and OIS (optical image stabilisation). the Xperia has all, focus, OIS and variable zoom. the Samsungs do not have variable zoom. they are fixed at 3x/10x.
A step in the right direction, but the range is too narrow. Hopefully, the next implementation will range between 1x-5x, although going up to 10x would be even better...
Nice. Optical Zoom/Mechanical Zoom (Real Zoom) is always better than DIgital Zoom. Digital Zoom makes things blurry because it’s not actually zooming…it’s just cropping
I wish Samsung uses this hardware based zoom for 3x to 5x instead of replacing the 10X optical zoom lens with a dedicated 5X only lens on their upcoming S24 ultra, like what the rumors suggest! They have already implemented a 5 lens formula on the rear of their ultra series and it will surely improve the quality of zoom! Portrait shots to be precise!👌🏻
Sonys front facing camera has always been pretty shallow. Regardless of what they do to the phone to improve it, they will always remain behind if they don't catch up.
