why does DS4 helps with v skills? my v skills aren't hitting the reduced cap from bosses, so would DS4 which increase cap from bosses help my v skills at all?
@@EchoMSM I was referring to the cap. If let's say I'm hitting 10mil with my v skills while my normal att on the ignore def boss hits 17mil, when DS4 kicks in normal att hits 19mil, but isn't my v skills still be hitting 10mil?
@@slow-living_03 IED isn't a cap increase. It's a damage increase that isn't limited by cap. Whatever you're hitting at, capped or not, it will be reduced by enemy DEF. Lotus DEF is 40%. So if you're hitting 20m, it will be reduced by 40% to 12m. Doesn't matter if that 20m is capping or not. IED ignores part of the 40% reduction. Base case if you have no other sources of IED, it is 25% IED from DS4. Which means Lotus DEF drops from 40% to 30%. That means your 12m will become 14m. 12m = 20m * 60% 14m = 20m * 70%
