AEK Athens legend....He was one of the greatest players to ever set foot in Greece. This guy could be world class.. He just didn't have the work ethic, motivation etc. He was so skilled.. Miss you Nacho..
Watching this, I would say he was world class. Haven't heard of him before so I can't comment on his career overall. But there are numerous world class players who partied too much, didn't train well and weren't necessarily consistent either. But on their good days they were exceptional.
The years he played for AEK, something naturally forced me to rush to the stadium and watch him play. Magician!! I felt I was watching our own Maradona. Forza Nacho, Forza AEK.
Football Leagues by difficultly Premier League/La Liga - ULTIMATE Bundesliga/Serie A - World Class French/Portuguese/Russian/American etc.- Farmers Columbian/Brazilian/Argentinian - Bin men and takeaway staff
This guy out here playing chess and other players playing checkers, his execution is superb, crisp clear and deadly. Ive always admired players who can manifest their dream goals to reality like R9 phenomenon, their mentality is like “If i can imagine it, i CAN DO IT!” Inspiring.
Ex Barcelona manager Martino said that the best false 9 after Messi is Scocco. 1)1 cap 2 goals vs Brazil 2)Amazing skills in Mexican Pumas when he first left Newells 3)One of the best players in Greek side AEK, one of the biggest teams in Greece and the entire eastern Europe with huge history replacing Rivaldo of all people, he is considered as one of the best players to ever play for the club. 4)He chose to follow the money in Arabia even though he was in his prime 5)Then he came back to Newells, top scorer in the league, torneo final champion, libertadores semifinalist and was by far the best thing outside of Europe in a team filled with legends like Heinze and Maxi Rodriguez under Martino 6)consecutive transfers to Brazilian International and Sunderland were major mistakes 7)came back to Argentina and in his early 30s he was Newells top scorer and due to financial problems went on to River Plate were he still produces magic In 35 years of age but plays less nowadays. My honest opinion? If he worked as hard as other professionals he would be in ballon d'or contention.
He is a living legend for Newell's and Argentinian football i think...top 3 skilled player ever played in Greece...too bad he couldn't play more in the national team but Argentina had so many world class forwards and he didn't fit in the squad
Que grande Nacho Scocco, soy hincha de el desde que vino a Pumas de Mexico, solo que tuvo problemas con el DT de ese tiempo pero acá sin duda también la revento.
This is what all talent and no desire looks like. Could have been so much more. So so much more. I'm sure he's happy in life though so can't knock it really but, as a fan of this sport, he could have reached dizzy heights
@@nahuelagustinratti138 wft are you talking about, we can't even keep most of our best players from going to shitholes like MLS or Liga MX, purely because of the economical situation
@@stevewalker6240 just like Ronaldinho, he liked to party too much. Now he is too old I love Ronaldinho, but many south american players in particular seem to suffer from success in that way
@@@LUFC00 not at all, Dinho is my favorite player of año time! I met the man once, very humble¡ The only thing is that he did not reach his full potencial. It is not a secret he loved to party, he could have been the very best of all time statistically speaking, i wish he would have been
It is difficult to state a serious opinion by only watching a video of greatest moments of a player. You need to watch various matches to conform a trusty opinion but this boy has veey good qualities. The most important is creativity to think on how to solve originally the different plays he does. This is what makes the difference. Anyway there are always reasons why a player gets to the top or not. You can not trust just in best moments videos. There is a lot more to study on each player
Ive watched him during his all career. The only logical explination to why he didnt make it big time in Europe is his lack of training and injury prone. Thats like a known truth here in south america
this mans talent is a pleasure to watch , its so immense he makes it look too easy as great scorers do , they are always composed , relaxed , confident and fixed on getting that next goal is achieved , great video thnx!! All you whingers if you dont like the music turn the volume Off or is that too hard for you? BAHAHAHA
You obviously don't watch the games. The best players in the world come from South America. Arthur, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Neymar, Lautaro, Martinelli, etc etc. Literally went from playing for their clubs to being starters in the best teams in Europe. They didn't need to adapt or anything. I personally watch La Copa Libertadores alot, some of the best football is played there
Newells "old boys" really lived up to there name a couple years ago. Maxi (41) scocco (37) formica (34) perez (37) belluschi (38) now that is old for a front 5
Jonathan Rodriguez he was the last great striker pumas has had Castillo was good while he was there and Gonzales he is good I like him hope we can keep this form
@@joelvazquez7998 honestly bro, i think Dante, Lalo Herrera and Alustiza were great too, they all showed when we needed them. González is good, but a poacher and really does not do anything himself, i think Dinenno will be much better than him. That goal he had Sunday he made all on his own, been a long time since Pumas had a stiker like that
Legend he is one the Players Messi loves, respect and idolized, in one Interview he said even he is his absolute idol and favorite player I love Scocco he was like phenomeno for me
If he really wanted in my opinion he could have played in a top Europe club and be as good as hazard was at his best, but he chose his country and to play in the team he supported. He was also a bit lazy and would choose the games he would want to play good but would always deliver in big games, you cant pressure these players to play good, these players especially from South America are artists and need to feel good to play good.
When i was in Argentina i went to Boca Juniors stadium but it was so scruffy just like the old English stadiums which were long demolished. But Rivers stadium is awesome!
