@nessamillikan6247

I don't know about all villains, but it was definitely made for early-mid 20th century villains. Written by Orff in 1934, with themes that depicted debauchery--consumption of drink, money and flesh--as well as the rise and fall of fortune associated with them, it, not surprisingly, I might add, that the Nazi regime took inspiration from it: "Orff’s masterpiece greatly appealed to the Nazi regime, to whom its rhythms, as one critic put it, were reminiscent of the “stamping columns of the Third Reich”. When Carmina Burana was first performed at La Scala, in 1942, it was as a showpiece for fascist values." So, I personally tend to think, whenever I hear O Fortuna, that it was made specifically for the villains who suffered the fortune and losses of two world wars and the Great Depression. Even if the roaring 20s was a brief reprieve from the ravages of war, many men who fought in WWI still couldn't recover and felt a sense of loss and amorality. Not without sympathy, it was one hell of a punishing time in history.

This is the playlist I use whenever I'm grading student papers. Both the despair and glee I feel are well realized in this playlist; despair--because your students have not paid attention to a single word you said throughout the semester, and glee--because you are about to exact retribution upon their lazy asses. When they get their papers back, they will truly understand the extent of my villainy.

"I knew that this would happen. I knew who you were. All along." He whispered. "You killed hundreds..." the old woman trembled before him on her death bed, her body so weak. Her voice so rusty and low. Scratch the surface and there's the deepest point...with nothing left, "but dear boy....-" She took a breath, her black eyes so hollow and deadly, with no soul left in them, "- I killed ten thousands." She breathed her last and her body fell limp and lifeless but the cruel smile stayed there....forever.

Damn, I really got nothing to write, I guess I'm tired lol. I'll write a lilttle something, in some hours??? So uh... it's quite a mess, but I had fun! The man sighed in tiredness, as if the sin he commited seconds ago didn't affect him at all, as if he has numb to death and suffering; however, Raphael looked in awe at his friend's corpse, just a faint call came out of hiss trembling mouth. - Sa... Salazar. After that he stayed mute, as if the snake of God bit his tongue, making him unable to express his grief. - Raphael, if you talk one more time, another one of your friend will die. The man above the group, naked from waist up, was resting his head upon his knuckles. He seemed tired, like his energy was drained every second he was alive. Still shocked by his friend's death, he looked at the man in terror. - Stop... I beg of you, kill me! let them free! The words of Raphael were useless, as the man pointed the gun at the woman to the left of Raphael. - You talked. And by that rule he pulled the trigger, and the woman fell, and became a corpse of his making. - ANNE! YOU...! YOU! I'LL KILL YOU! I SWEAR UPON GOD- But his curse wouldn't finish, as the trigger was pulled once again, now against the tallest in the group, he fell as well. The youngest, and the one who screamed in pain, dind't sucumb to anger, but to sadness, his rage for the death of the woman he loved was no more, and in its place there were just tears coming from his eyes, and he stayed quiet once again. - You have commited crimes much greater than mine, while I am numb to my own suffering, you are numb to other's suffering, you cry for yourself, because you suffer. That's your flaw, and the culprit of this outcome; while I pity you, i will not let you free, sinner... You have experience only but a fraction of what you are going to feel. Welcome to hell, this is what you deserve. Raphael stayed silent, however a faint chuckle was heard. - Your true self is coming to shore, I suppose. But be welcomed, for the Devil greets you as your most steeemed follower, Raphael, until the end of time you'll suffer. And the man stood up and went to Raphael, kneeling to him. - Raphael, or well... Azrael. Welcome back. - I apologize, Uriel. Raphael was quite a pain to kill, but thanks to you, I regained my right to bring hell upon these lands, am I right? Devil. - You always are, God. You always are... And thus, the shell which contained God broke, and let out the culprit of the chaos which will engulf this world. The two faces of the same coin, Uriel and Azrael. The coin of destruction.

the first one just makes me feel like its either morning or 1200pm (lunch time), but I think that's just due to that being the only time my father ever really played the cd with that composition on it
