Pretty good price for this plug-n-play. If you could when trying N64 games, one of the harder games to emulate is Blast Corp (Blast Dozer Japanese) that for me is the way to tell how good the device runs, even RetroArch has problems running that game. Thanks for the info 👍

I really don't care about these plug and play hard drives, but for the price it seems pretty decent and saves time getting the games yourself.

I've read reviews where people say they orsered a plug and play and they either encountered Malware or games/systems that don't load. How is this any different?

I dig the style but I hate how the selling point is always bulk games instead of taking the time to make sure there’s not duplicates and stuff. Like I’d still be hyped if it was 2000 games instead of 48000

I agree Steve! I think the majority of people are sold on that number unfortunately which at the end of the day more isn't always more. When's the last time you said yeah man this weekend was great. Played 48,000 games. It was a blast 🤣. Nobody is going to play even 1% of that.

Can you PLEASE make a video on setting up and running MAME on Batocera? I have it installed with the artwork but most of the games don’t actually load. I’ve installed the latest BIOS pack…

I will try but try switching emulators. Go into advanced options (hold the button you launch a game with) and you'll see advanced options. At the top it'll say emulator....switch left or right to change emulators. Try with each and one of them should launch your game. Different roms have different emulator requirements in there. You may just have the wrong emulator selected

I also try to download the “Touch of Glass” theme in batocera 38 but always get an error. Other themes download/install fine…any ideas? Thanks again man, you are the best!

This would work nice for something like my slightly underpowered NUCbox PC .. even the weak Celeron should be able play most of this well.

To have a Game Cube Collection without Eternal Darkness especially...and the Kain games is a travesty! lol That is something that can be fixed! Overall not a bad collection and set up...just needs some work and a few titles here and there No Dreamcast is the one major downside of this for me as well...Dreamcast was AMAZING...I remember standing in line at the mall to pick up my pre order Dreamcast with Sonic, Mortal Kombat Gold and House of the Dead lol

It’s much better and a lot of fun to just build your own mini pc retro gaming system. Batocera is amazing and most emulators are super easy to setup and work great as long as you have the current bios. MAME is tricky for me but I just started building mine a month ago. I can’t find any good videos on setting up MAME, mainly ROMsets…

As far as I know you can’t digitally buy all of these games (I could be wrong) You have to buy the console and physical copy, which have become insanely expensive. Last week I found a TMNT Arcade game cartridge for NES…$120!! 😮😂
