I just came across your channel and love your tutorials, very well explained and love that you use high end products. I’m wondering if you have La Prairie foundation and if you have a tutorial of it. I do have the loose setting powder and love it, is one of my favorites.

I’m really glad you enjoyed it! 🧡 I actually don’t have the La Prairie foundation anymore because I wasn’t very impressed with it when I tried it a while back. I noticed it just sat on top of the skin rather than really melting in and becoming one with it, like I seek in my foundation. I felt it wasn’t worth the high price tag compared to other luxury formulas out there that I’ve been impressed with. I appreciate your feedback on the setting powder! I’ve been eyeing that for some time now and have yet to try it, but it’s been on my wish list forever. You just conformed that I do in fact need to try it asap! 🤍
@@MakeupEsquire You’ll like the setting powder. I ordered online La Prairie foundation, just got it yesterday but it was too light for my skin tone. Is hard to order online since they don’t have swatches. I’ve notice that we have very similar skin tone, can you tell me what shade are you on this foundation? @eunicemoreno1720 I ordered the shade Warm Linen in the La Prairie Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation. I totally agree with you that finding the right shade was tricky! I had a hard time, too. For reference, BD41 in Chanel is usually a better shade match for me, but the shade Warm Linen was still a shade or 2 too light for me, especially in these warmer months. Which shade did you try? I will say it was a good shade for concealer, though, since I usually go for a shade or 2 lighter in concealer to brighten my under-eye area. That shade was more of a light-leaning medium & I personally tend to lean toward medium-tan with a neutral undertone, slightly olive. I did like that it had a true neutral undertone. Notably, I tried this foundation in October of 2021, & I recently heard that La Prairie reformulated it! I hope you have better luck than I did. I would love to hear your thoughts on it after you find your right shade! I’m so glad we have similar taste in makeup AND share similar skin tones ☺️
@@MakeupEsquire It was my mistake when I made the order. I wanted to order Soleil Peche and by mistake I order Peche. I don’t know if Soleil Peche is my right shade, maybe I should wait until I can go in store and try it in person but for that to happen I have to drive 5 hours to Fort Worth Tx to a Neiman Marcus.
