Apparently that bezel is fixed. Too bad as otherwise it would provide a dual time function. As a fixed bezel I don't understand what function it serves.

Having these dials, I still think a plain polished bezel (not numbered or segmented) would take this watch into a more of a Gada. Also still think the smaller version of the clasp is more appropiate. Good review. Regards

Honestly their case finishing is so good. Their watches are worthy of a SW200 option.

Hello my friend with the great channel ‘ Shiny things ‘ I just received this San Martin in the green dial which looks almost like an emerald green. I still have to remove the plastic wrapping that covers the watch. This watch I acquired for approximately $242.00 U S dollars it the watch does look quite uniquely elegant with the described weight to it. I think it is time for SM to focus on the back case too, some decorated case back or see through with a custom made rotor,would give them a boost in the right direction ,of course for a bit more money. Perhaps would be nice to see miyota 9 series, and not pt5000,Nh35 it is a safe movement though.

I have the black mop gmt version, lovely piece! Was looking forward to that three hander, but those hour markers on the bezel make it too similar to the GMT version. And still, I’m waiting for a proper blue version, blue dunes, blue sunburst, this kinda thing… The prolly couldn’t have gone the 129 route, bc the fixed bezel on that thing is already quite large and for this 130 it would’ve been too large i guess.

Very good looking San Martin watch with like an emerald green color, maybe San Martin in your excellent relationship with you will listen closely to your suggestion to place a nice and elegant engraving on the back case plate. Congratulations for your RU-vid channel that in my personal opinion is 10 stars not just the known five stars. !!

If they had a rotating bezel on this I would buy it right away.

I already have a Malachite Dial and got it from Phoibos and it also has a Seiko NH35 😮 these two watches look similar 🤔 the Phoibos is 200 meters of water resistance and I paid $265 😎

Confuse bezel is fixed, Why ?

I'm fortunate to live in a large(er) and wealthy city. We have at least one tudor ad, a number of rolex ads, a ball ad, tissot/hamilton ads, etc.... I've spent a number of Saturdays driving around, looking at and trying on watches. I can 100% say, San Martin steel finishing is as good as any of those brands. Maybe not every model in the rolex range, but the basic models for sure. That's 100% a fact, and I think it's been talked about and shown on RU-vid. If san martin can invest in dials/hands/indices, under 3k, they will be unmatched by any brand. Even as is, they are better quality watches than a lot of the brands I mentioned. Of course, the movement is a big cost saver, but it's incredible what they can do with steel. Edit - I'm saying unmatched against big brands I think CW and a few others are probably built better for that under 3k price.

No criticism of Citizen? You will hear plenty from me! I had 4 of my 6 Miyota/Citizen quartz calibres fail, 2 of them in actual at the time expensive Citizen dress watches (in 1988, 150 dollars was a LOT of money for a watch for a young Army soldier), the other 2 croaked recently in Skagen dress watches, (so they were all "Sunday" watches that were never abused!) so I am NOT a fan! Meanwhile, our well over a dozen Seiko/TMI quartz equipped tickers keep going, some as old as 35 years! The only ones gone, are the ones I had stolen in bathrooms while washing hands! (which is why now I insist on water-proofing) I cannot remember how many watches Momsy has, maybe 10 or 12, but I have 9 of them with Seiko/TMI/SII/Hattori quartz. Between venerable work horses like various PC21 generations and PC32(with date), these basic Seiko/TMI calibres are awesome! AH, and the Seiko/TMI VK63 chronograph calibre in my Pagani "Newman's Own" PD1676 is HAQ level at not even gaining a full second in the 4 months since I set it to DST! I was not even aware I had Seiko watches, until I started paying attention when popping them open to change batteries! Skagen, Timex, Anne Klein, Pierre Cardin, Mathey-Tissot, Yukon, Logic, and others, all happily ticking away after decades of use, the newest one already a few months old again. Citizen/Miyota? BAH HUMBUG! Especially their expensive Bulova Lunar Pilot (USD 372 minimum, around 800 with a strap and collectible 20 cent Moon-print box) with a 262KHz quartz, has been tested by many, and cannot hold a candle to the TMI VK63! Bulova back-pedalled hard on their 10 sec/year claims, because it is very false, thanks to lack of thermal compensation, so that high speed quartz goes bonkers and is nowhere near even 10 seconds a month, much less a year! I mean, come on, people freaked out about my beloved Glycine getting bought by Invicta, but Glycine is intact, and they actually dumped some Invicta styled models they had released BEFORE Invicta bought them, and went back to their core models and own identity, thanks to Invicta's cash infusion! (a fact all Invicta haters out there totally miss, and they unjustly poo-poo post Invicta purchase Glycine for no reason, except ignorance) I just bought 2 of them, and love them. Meanwhile, Citizen stripped Bulova from its Accutron models and brand, and they are packing Miyota calibres in all Bulovas. YUCK! It is just a matter of time, until Citizen drops Bulova, like GM did with formerly popular Oldsmobile and Pontiac. Citizen's pricing is also not great, so they can get stuffed. OH, their solar models ... nah ... they still need a battery every 10 to 20 years, but an expensive rechargeable type, so a 10 year Casio with a fat 20 cent CR2025 or similar is just fine and costs 1/20th of that Citizen EcoDrive! NOPE, no love for Citizen here at all anymore! I had mine, and they sucked in the end!

Even sanmartin has really low resale value..I am only buy microbrand watches these days. I'd like to see you do alot more of the microbrands. This review was excellent. Thanx
