Just search for it on RU-vid. There are a few big Blender RU-vidrs, that have already done a video about that, explaining it in detail. Just look for Blender Texture Ripper
I would actually disagree. You can definitely do the same with photoshops perspective correction. But texture ripper is just so fast. It’s especially good, when you have lots of textures, you want to extract from an image. Extracting all the textures from this castle was just a few minutes. It would probably take longer with photoshop. Of course it could also be, that photoshop has a new tool, that I‘m not aware of. In the end, it just depends on what you like best
@@misanthrope_01texture ripper is like archived software basically, nobody’s out here tryna push this software, it’s actually really good at what it does, takes seconds to grab the textures you need, then just export that as png and open in photoshop. Not extra fluff
