Got mine yesterday from official store. It's pretty amazing little machine. It's actually brighter in real life compared to youtube videos. Very usable even in daylight in a semi-shaded room, if you are reasonable with projected screen size. And it's pretty quiet too. Netflix gave me some trouble though. I've followed the instructions but my Netflix username and password wouldn't work. In the end I made it work somehow. I paid 499€ and for the price of low-mid range TV, this is much better deal imho. Option to go full portable with use of powerbank is icing on the cake.
How about Xgimi Halo Plus? I been thinking either Mogo 2 Pro or Halo+. Halo is more bright but doesn’t have USB-C so can’t use my power bank. I been thinking of this for outdoor use mostly because have used Xgimi Horizon Pro as living room projector few years. When was Mogo 2 Pro and Halo+ released? Is it possible that Xgimi would release something new portable soon..
Like any other projector, you'll need to use it at night to see it well outdoors. With that being said, it's definately more than bright enough to get a good picture outdoors. I've used it on my tan garage wall and it was good and clear
And here comes a problem.. Atleast here at Finland.. Summer nights have lot light and mid summer sun hardly set down at all.. When it’s nice and warm.. Winter and autumn it’s cold and rainy… And wouldn’t wanna watch movies outside middle of snow… How ever I watch once movie at bath barrel using sauna wall as screen.. But projector was much more bright than this… (Those old ones with lamp, s-video and dvd player about 1100 ANSI lumen) Anyway I like to have portable projector as bright as possible and possibility use usb c power pack as extra power.
@@Mika73x2 No power bank will power a powerful projector. With Mogo2pro you would need a 40.000mAh powerbank with 65W output to power up a full movie. If you want a brighter projector, You can buy a powerful powerstation like ecoflow river 2 pro and a bright projector like Horizon and try to work with that
Hi! I actually got one as brandew, but there's some issues regarding connecting with the WiFi saying it can't connect right now, try again. But our wifi connection at house works perfectly fine so I don't get it why it doesn't comnect, can I get any helpful advice regarding this, thanks!
Do you have two different wifi networks? One for 2.5ghz, one for 5ghz? If so, try connecting to the 2.5ghz. I have this problem often with my Eero mesh routers and need to temporarily disable 5ghz for some devices to connect.
I had this one. Do the slightest keystone correction, and the image will stutter. Take the keystone away, and the problem disappears, but then It becomes useless in many scenarios. Try to test it with a 60 fps video, because then it's more apparent. The rainbow effect was also way too distracting for me. I sent it back and got a new one. Same issue with stutter when using keystone. Had a long and pointless chat with xgimi who won't acknowledge the issue.
I dont have that issue with mine. I do use it connected to a fire stick since all my accounts are already signed in there, so maybe that played a part in not having that issue.
@EricReviews do you think it's possible to use a fire stick and point up at the ceiling at the same time? I'm guessing you would need something to start it on near the bed, as laying it on the bed wouldn't work?
I have a 100w 25,000mah power bank I use and get about 2hours of play time on it. I picked up a second 25k bank to get about 4 hours total while still keeping everything portable.
It makes sense. With no battery, it cuts down the size and weight. I use it with a 25,000 mah power bank and get about 2hours of play time that way while still being very portable.
Most of the time you will end up with watching Mogo indoor. So is there a reason to have bigger projetcor with built in battery but all the time having it plugged. Also for outdoor movies you have to buy additional portable screen and stick to size of it. + Consider pricing for Mogo 2 pro and Halo+
