The only reason it’s not legal is because the government can’t tax it Prostitution is one of the oldest professions nobody deserves to die like that 🇦🇺
Very lonely and forlorn graves for both of these women. Lack of due process and lack of care given for each of them at the time, as they were considered to be scum.
I have been working in this profession for about eight years, and today I feel I am lucky to be still alive. It is so dangerous, you cannot look into someone's head. There are lots of sick people out there.
Wow, what a story. It does sound like they really were not interested in solving the case. Too bad, every life is important no matter your personal life.
I wonder where their pimps were? What about the madam? There pimps, madam, and customers didn’t care about the lives of these women enough to hire a private investigator.
Such a fascinating part of the country! Awful thing that happened to the poor lady. How could a person’s brain go so wrong, they’d even think to hurt someone like that?
@@bigospig sounds like they didn’t try too hard to find the killer, and the victims were prostitutes, probably saying they’re just hookers who cares, probably blamed the victims like they always do.
I had an opportunity to just talk to prostitute about her clients once...what she told me was 95 percent of her business was simply lonely men..... 5 percent were creeps....i was surprised ...i dont know what i expected to hear but it wasnt that....
Those lonely men and creeps love these women’s services, but in a case like this, no one cares about them…. Not even their best customers. These men only care about satisfying their needs
Interesting story. Had to look up where the town is. In the middle of Nowhere Desert with some serious mountain peaks in the distance. In 1951, I doubt they had much in the way of forensic police work way out there. Someone got away with murder, and there’s a chance I’ll guess “he” is still breathing somewhere.
Taxscine was actually married to a man named Bonny Ornelas who ended up workin at the mines after the Brothel closed down. It was said she was a very giving woman, very kind and loving. She gave donations to Charities all the time. As far as Alice's situation, in my opinion, I think the one who killed her and her "bar mother" was a law enforcement guy. In my opinion, when botched crime scene stuff happens, it generally because the men in blue are trying to protect a brother in blue. There was a murder that happened in my area back in the 90's that to this day is still unsolved. A girl's body was found just off a snowmobile trail about I think 6 months or so after she went missing. After an autopsy, it was confirmed she was murdered. Now I know rumors have a way of getting around; but one that stuck out to me and made the most sense was that one of the possible persons who could have done this was a cop. The story goes that he had hooked up with the girl off and on and at first she did not know he was married. I guess once she found out she told him she was going to inform his wife that he was cheating on her. It is thought that in order to stop her from doing it, he showed up to her apartment unexpectedly, asking her to go for a drive with him so they could talk about the situation, and he could fill her in on what was going on. She willingly went with him, and it is thought that rather he tried to talk her into keeping quiet and she refused or once he got her out in the middle of nowhere, he suddenly attacked her and left her body just off the side of a snowmobile trail. This all happened just before the snow was to fly and the location in question, no one would even know was there unless they were living or often visited the area. Now the story further goes that a cop who was also a Jehovah Witness had finally informed a few of the other men of what he did, and those men agreed to never speak a word of it because Jehovah's must have each other's backs. What I found even more interesting was about 4 months after the body was found, he decided to take his family and move elsewhere. To this day her murder is still unsolved, and I guess there is a good idea of who committed the crime, but due to lack of solid proof they couldn't bring this guy to justice. To this day the girl's family and friends still try and keep her name out there and still bring up the situation on the anniversary of her death. The police department said they hope someday they will finally get the proof they need and the person in question who killed her.

There is a girl Carlie Guse missing from Chalfant Ca. Since 2018. About 2 hours south of Tonopah NV. Sighting of her partying in Tonopah Nv. Hope she’s found soon.
Here in the UK we had the same indifference towards prostitutes and women in general by the police at the time of the Yorkshire ripper killings in the 1970’s of course not all the rippers victims were prostitutes in the end most were not .
What kind of Mickey Mouse police department isn’t equipped with a fingerprint system even seventy years ago and i have seen some effed up cemeteries but that one was really bad.
@@chicanoduke No, my point was that she could not be accurate about events. It is not a matter of proof versus taking her word. She was somply not capable of making an accurate statement.
Thank you Lamont for continuing to bring this story and all the other stories you have brought us over the years. I have been following you almost since the beginning. Keep up the excellent work!😃👍👍♥️
Of course those women should be protected. But prostitution is a horrible job for them. Drinking excessively, most likely, is their way of trying to forget the trauma of prostitution. Having prostitution legalized only benefits the pimps.
Always watch your vidoes I dont understand why people are so evil somtimes you dont have a choice and you get into things but therer is so many evil people in this world who want to hurt I dont understand
Based on what little you've said, I tend to believe that Raymond Milan was innocent. I'm highly skeptical that he's guilty. I'm actually very surprised the case against him went to trial. Any DA with a pinch of common sense wouldn't have taken that case.
