This PSVR2 Game just got a Graphics BOOST... 

From a dev response on Reddit foveated rendering is not implemented yet, but may come with the Unreal 5 update eventually. I honestly wish you could toggle back to the old resolution just to compare. Because I can’t tell much if any difference up close, but the pieces in the distance are sharper, maybe. lol

I like the increase in resolution. It wasn't bad before, but now it’s definitely crisper, especially noticeable when viewing pieces from a distance. I've spent hundreds of hours playing this game! I always play with the maximum number of pieces, which is where the enhanced resolution really makes a difference. This game is perfect for unwinding while listening to podcasts. You should start your own podcast, Jammy, so I can listen to you too! 🙂 By the way, the 3D images are all scanned from miniature models. It would be interesting if they tried scanning real buildings at some point, although that would probably be a massive undertaking.

I only played this game a bit on PSVR 1, but the thing that stuck with me was just how satisfying that click and little bit of rumble is when you join pieces together. Very relaxing, until I get stuck for too long and get frustrated 😂 Would love to see a video covering the multiplayer feature.

Love this game. The environmental sound blew me away. Adds such immersion. And building 3D puzzles is amazing. Always do 400 pieces and now need to be careful because I obsess about finishing puzzles and these can be pretty tricky!

I imagine they used something more higher end for the scans. Maybe a Faro scanner a la accident reconstruction, or something on a tripod. Multiple hi-res scans are then combined for the final product, basically like its own puzzle for the devs haha! Drones just DO NOT have the accuracy and resolution for this type of work (and like you said, interior flights are probably a no-go).

Has the demo been updated? I tried the demo in the past and found it blurry. From memory, it looked ok at a certain distance but you get encouraged to get closer to listen. I had no issue with the resolution of the pieces, it was just genuinely blurry despite many idp adjustments etc. Could have been a me thing.

Is VR too horror heavy? I would like a game with resident evil type graphics but when you open the box there are kittens and 🌈..... sorry I am drunk tis Friday.... What I meant to say was is VR too horror top heavy?

The game really needed a little boost. I have played this game a lot and will probably play it again when things have become a little less hectic for me.
