This is the kind of dad that actually comes back with milk.

He’s not a step dad he’s the dad that stepped up

Dude didn’t even care about the park, but he did care about hearing the word cat he really loves those kittens !

He drenched those babies 😭❤ When we brought home my oldest cat, she was about 1.5 months old, we told our dog that she was his kitty (they’re both black and white) and he’s adored her since. He even responds to “where’s your kitty?” and he’ll go find her. She actually learned a lot of behaviours from him, including wagging her tail super fast when happy or getting pets. It’s been 5 years and they’re still best of pals!

I love how when animals meet orphaned baby animals, even of other species they’re like, “Hello, you’re mine now, come along children.”

So cute he gets mopey when he has no kittens to take care of. He’s truly found his purpose!

I love that there is a male dog in the world who has a passion for fostering kittens.

The fact that he gets sad when the kittens leave and immediately perked up when she said "wanna play with a kitty?" was so cute

He might not have been their father, but he was their daddy.

My shephard was seriously depressed until I adopted a stray with her four puppies. She would wake me up to get the puppies out of the claw foot tub, as soon as they woke up. The two boys would be awake at four. The girls always slept in. The Mom couldn't nurse them, she was starving. She was trying to wean the puppies. She ate a tremendous amount, but wouldn't nurse. My shepherd happily raised them, teasing, and teaching them to play.

He probably doesn’t even understand the incredible difference he’s making in lives, what a good boy!!!

I gaurantee that will extend his life dramatically. Growing up, we had a little west highland terrier. She hit the age of 12 - 13 and she started going downhill. The vets told us she had maybe 6 months left. a week later, my dad was walking own the street when this beautiful Golden Retriever started following him. The owners were moving and were currently looking to re-home him. So, we took him....Life was sparked again in our little Annie. She lived another 6 years after she had Rocky to cuddle and love. The funniest part, we were told the Golden didn't bark. They never heard him bark once. Our little Annie never shut the heck up...one day, this low, grumbling bark came out of his mouth and he scared himself...Annie taught him to bark! I miss them both so much...

Sometimes it’s hard to carry on with a big heart with no one to share it with
