A word of caution about the sexy diff cover. I saw a very interesting video about aftermarket diff covers and what happened to oil flow around the diff when the original cover was replaced. It's worth checking to see if the inside surface of the new cover is anything like the original or not.
That was a very informative Gale Banks video explaining how awful the flat-backed "performance" covers truly are. You'll notice this cover has the required curves and directional webbing, so no worries. Every bit as good as factory, but expensiver ;-)
Chivenor, my first summer camp as a 'sprog' in the Air Training Corps. They were a fast jet conversion unit and flew F6 and T7 Hawker Hunters. We also invaded Brauton Sands in an old WW2 DUWK amphibious vehicle. The Sands have never been the same since! Re the filling station, it was so long ago that it didn't exist then!
Twin stainless 2.5 inch. 400mm resonators in the middle and a twin straight through muffler at rear on mine. Sounds spot on. Not noisy but sounds the goods when pulling the rpm’s
agree it looks really trick, but i prefer wrap as its proven to keep more heat in and reduces noise too I wrapped my v6 sierras manifold and downpipes (about a third of the stainless system)mainly to protect the front diff and prop from heat it made a huge difference, noticable to performance too ,i used the sealing spray underneath
