Okay, from what I've heard, the game was made by Sturm/Churgney Gurgney. He only brought it up randomly on Twitter, posting it as a Mediafire file, to keep up the mystery aspect of this game. And if anything, the murder story within its files is most likely an ARG. Really, I don't think someone in their right mind would post a game that's hiding an actual unsolved murder. I mean, it's not like someone wouldn't be that sick in real life, but I want to give Sturm the benefit of the doubt. The same thing happened with MARIO by M A R I O, and look what we found out years later about that supposed Victim #1.
Im not gonna lie when i say this but i felt real unnerved at the gameover segment, the way the looping beeps it feels like a broken unfinished mess of code.
I think?.. the entity's name is "End" I just looked into the wiki for more info and saw the "Unsaturated" sprites and the "returnal.png" picture you saw is brighter at the wiki
stuff i found 6:31 i got 854545298545452985454 from those sounds by matching them with numbers on phone keypad 10:02 game object "i_dont_want_to_talk" is linked to a sprite named "why_not"
i think what it means by "we left it in the car" and its the melting sonic, could mean that the victim was left in the car in the heat and they melted.
i dont know much about the lore but at the bossfight i think of the black-faced sonic as a victim and normal sonic the killer, black-faced sonic/victim tries to fight at first but when he realizes he cant win by fighting, he tries to run away. but that doesnt work either, i also think the black-faced sonic melting into the ground is another way of saying that he went into the ground (or got buried after he died)
the reason sonic has no eyes is because they are closed the whole time he does have eyes just dosent show them (i think this is from what ive heard correct me if im wrong)

I have a theory, now im not matpat but thats okay. When you climb up the moutain i think its meant to be the people driving up the mountain , when you fight the other sonic it might be to represent him fighting himself trying to get himself to bury the body, then when sonic ultimately melts into the floor its meant to be the victim buried, after that when your just standing, then your face falls off followed with a game over, this might mean he ultimately killed himself not being able to deal with the dread.

The Insanity insane about this game is feels like a unending hell for sonic as it keeps on looping over and over again as it feels like sonic is trapped here forever by the creature named the end .but there is no ending only an endless loop.
My theory is the faceless sonic is the murdered victim because the murderer might of scooped up his guts and cut out his face and hid the body[thats all ik tbh]
Theres a video of them talking about "her" aka the weird sonic and uhhh you can find a secret number somehow, it says 811, its for a digging up something kind of lawsuit, but they are scaed to talk about "her" i think, the sonic we found with no face is the blue thing you saw and its trying to escape but doesnt know how
My theory is that its based on 2 people from the game sonic is murdering him and they scooped everything,guts,face,litterally everything except the fur (i think)?Anyways, so i saw in the files that its like two people are having a conversation and those are the murders.And i saw that there was a message saying "green mountain is not far" which is a sign that sonic has been buried in the green mountain to never be found and that the why_not sonic is his soul,wandering in the green mountains or its normal sonic sleeping while the murder is happening and he sees why_not sonic as an early sign of this happening but,its happening in a loop forever and a new sonic becomes the new why_not over and over again in his sleep or death idk kinda like needlemouse. I altered the image and it showed a face that looks like majin from sonic.exe but realistic it also resembles Cassidy from fnaf with that one picture we have (mainly with the shading)

Whoever made this game simply took the original sonic green hill zone, made it ultra saturated and then made sonic ultra saturated and called it an exe game.
You propably don't know the different between an EXE creepypasta game and a regular creepypasta game judging from that cringey-as$ Among us pfp and name, Grean Mountain is inspired more by the MARIO creepypasta than Sonic.exe .
guy's i just relized that that is manjin bc majin wears a mask and the file is a metafore for a murder and burying it (such as leaving it behind) so 2 unknown charaters buried a body and they left it behind in there memeory to be taunted with it idk how majin is evolved but i'm almost sertain that that's majin
