Love it. A tip that's helped me a lot, even though it sounds cringe af, is to hold my controller while I'm watching and pretending I'm the one playing. Then I get to see how my decisions at any given moment differ like whether he turns away, moves up, jumps, catches the ball, etc. Also helps me pay more attention to what he's doing.
Leth, I think you are playing at a reasonable speed. Honestly, faster is definitely reasonable as well. You never played 'too fast' for a GC level in this video. The only difference is how good you make your touches, but that isn't something you should try to emulate for the rank. We would rather see the speed at which to play and what to go for and worry about improving our mechanical ability later when we go for the right plays more often
hard to explain how much i love this series❤ if you get up to GC2 by the time the season ends, you can play placements off camera (or for another video) and then pick up right where you left off perhaps
I think if you get 2v1 after one of the opponents abandons, you should always take the Win. Because you lose statistically the same number of games when your tm8 abandons. It just a correction for that.
Quick chat for boost? What if boost shoes up on part of the interface! Top left/right shows teammates name and a line for boost? Fills up and drops down. Would work for both 2v2 and 3v3. Imagine the possibilities!!! Photoshop idea - Vatira combined with tiramisu! Vatiramisu!
As a GC myself I have to say my experience with other GCs compared to the ones you played with/against are much more aggressive/ball chase and mechanical, also playing with a buddy it’s annoying how many smurf/carry teams I face. Love the series regardless and hope you continue it next season!
i’ve been in gc in 2s for the past 2 months i’d say for the first time in a long time and i’d say there’s a good amount of more mechanical/ballchaser players in gc and then you get the occasional no mechanic teammates and i always end up winning w the no mech teammates
@@blakxnz I’m one of those no mech GC’s hahaha- nothing I love more than watching my tm8 go for what they think is a sick aerial play just to give the ball straight to the other team and leave me in a 2v1 5 times a minute 🫠
@@HungryHungryHoe yeahhh my bad man😅 i’ve been trying to get better at not going for big boost wasting clips. if it’s less than 3 or 4 goals i try not to go for anything. it also depends on how much i trust my teammates too. i’ll be the defensive guy if i have to

Watched this one and the last episode. In both you usually boom the ball away a lot, gives away possession, then when you are not winning you active Smurf mode. For those that cares more about ranking up and trying to be more efficient I would recommend flakes road to ssl. Hope you take this the right way, just wanted to share my opinion! Best of luck with the series! Ps. The 1v1 was just full ssl mode active, ofc your teammate wants you to play when he saw how you played if he wants the win 😅

Wondering if you could go over how to better judge when to transition from defense to offense? I'm C1 and feel like I miss lots of opportunities for offense because I tend to circle back on D because it's hard to tell if my teammate truly has possession in our zone. Maybe it's just my D first mentality from playing that position in hockey?
I once had a tm8 rage at me for lagging, he told me that just bc I’m too broke to afford good internet doesn’t mean I should make other people have to suffer too by playing online 😂
I’ve always wondered why they don’t display your teammate’s boost levels somewhere on the screen, kinda like teammate armor/health in cod or other shooters
I mean I thought this was just common sense, but in a situation where the opponent's teammate leaves, it's always whoever is opposite of the 1v1 is who does the kickoff and takes the 1v1 for that goal.
