This was the song back in the day. I was working part time at our local university cafeteria.One of my school mates worked with me. One day when we were cleaning & they were playing the radio. This song came on & we started singing the parts. The students cheered us on. We got a lot of attention and the boss made us stop. The students booed the boss. I have to side with Half on this one. When you hear this song, the music pulls you in& you just start swaying side to side.

I was crack'N up as well as mouth wide open as I listened to this "reaction". "Church clothes .. " Too much. Maybe this is just for entertainment but you know that this kind of reality is age old! This song started out with a different scenario of two young ppl tryN to have a forbidden relationship, like from 2 different worlds. But the producer thought that this kind of scandalous flavor would be more attractive! There have been many other songs in R&B history that told the same story!! FYI .. the two fella's are brothers. The girl you see walking down the street in the video with her man is the same girl and guy singing on stage. The brothers that passed them is singing background .. the same one who sings "Send for me". One of my favs. Atlantic Starr has an incredible catalogue! I'm family and until someone shared all of the recordings with me, I didn't realize how many beautiful ballads they'd recorded! Thanks for the support y'all Shalom

Did y'all catch that they are both married and the two couples spend a lot of time together and they at one point ponder how careful they have to be when they are all together and at a point they said "Maybe they've had secret love all along" .. meaning it wasn't just them maybe. This song came out when I was in high-school and my BFF's boyfriend and I had a crush but we never followed it. People do need to just move on if they feel the need to cheat.

That was the dude she was cheating on at the end of the video. He was looking at how loving the couple was and thinking about how he was missing that in his own relationship. His gf/wife had become distant b/c she was cheating on him and was not showing him any affection.
