If maps 1,2 and 5 weren't so awful for defense I wouldn't mind your suggestion to swap maps. But as they currently are it would feel like a forced loss for the defender. Reinier swaps are as much of a brain dead strategy as Eironn teams hugging the wall. The other maps need some tiles where the swap can't be performed and map 3 needs to let melee heroes go around the back wall instead of it only being accessible from the front.

Map rotation yes I like that, but setting a team for every map sounds horrible to me

Your idea would be next level horrible for anyone using Reiner since you wouldn't be able to see if the enemy team is even on a map where you can use him, you're basically telling the devs "please make it so Eironn comps are the only ones ever used" since they are just as viable regardless of map. It wouldn't introduce variety, it would encourage sameness. You would make PvP even more of a gamble than it already is for anyone not using Eironn. Supreme Arena is a worse version of Arena simply because there is no level cap, meaning crap teams can win against superior formations all day thanks to P2W.

the problem is the other maps are trash, ppl chose maps with strategy most of the other maps are braindead maps when u can t really do nothing, you are just waiting to get reinier swap or u use enlightening spell to prevent that, but u are only protecting you carry, so your healer and others dps are free to get snipe, the real problem is this, we have 2 metas for attack reinier or eiron at least eiron is 50/50 also reinier preasto are crazy good in the other maps, so if we are forced to rotate to those shitty maps without strategy is just worst

rather than forcing bad defense maps or the use of a specific hero (eironn/reinier) onto players, it would be better if new, strategically balanced map layouts were added to the list of defense options so that more people could experiment with different setups without feeling like choosing anything other than one specific map is an automatic loss. if we got new maps that could counter eironn and reinier comps etc in defense, it would encourage people to feel safer experimenting with non-meta heroes since people wouldn't feel as shoehorned into using the eironn meta in order to rank.

I like the idea of BOTH a map rotation and setting multiple defenses. Setting multiple defenses would help people like me learn positioning for PvP as you could see where you are getting defeated more. The rotation would have to be long enough that its not annoying to set up teams. I dunno lots of good ideas! One other thing, in my humble opinion video titles could be less negative maybe? Like this could have easily been titled "new ideas for PvP improvements!". Just throwing that out there. Might help the health of the game. Thanks for all the work homie!

This is a very shallow thought suggestions as it doesn't consider consistent units like Eironn and Reinier: no matter what map you picked, Eironn will pull your units together; no matter what map you picked, if you let a unit in symmetrical tile then you always lose to Reinier comp, with same investment, 100% of the time. Even map rotation is implemented for reg arena, the fact remains bad units are bad units.

The biggest problem is player's who quit the game getting to keep the spots. 😅 There are two players in our server top 10 who where formar whales who quite the game, no one can push them out because the defence heros are paragon two paragon 3. 33 inactive players in total in our champions tier. Blocking out these spots to active players.

Thing about the other maps is that they are just not good, you get reiner'd and just lose which doesn't seem like a good system

Normal arena, for me, is the most frustrating thing right now (besides the lack of content to do on final days of season). Every defense is basically the same on the same fking map and the same guy just attacking you 7 times every day for ever with the same team even if you change your own formation. And i feel that Eiron is a huge problem and can't think of a solution besides nerfing or a new prime hero to whales counter it on day one.

There should be a cooldown on opponents so people can’t be farmed.

I still feel it's more like rock paper scissors, some teams work better against others. I like the idea of having to work out how to beat a team. The farming people is an issue though.
