Love this! We stayed here back in March (in rm 433 as well!) and it’s so nice to see all the improvements they’ve done since! It was so nice seeing all the familiar faces as well Can’t wait for the next video!
Great video. I was at Hyatt Zillara Punta Cana and it was so good I brought the kids to the Hyatt Ziva 6 months after. Please get better microphones. Could barely hear when you guys talk. Keep it up.
Your beach coverage in this video could have used some improvement. How were the beach lounge chairs and umbrellas? Did you have to get up early to reserve? Whats the sargassum game like?
Great video - Last year I went to Hyatt Zilara in punta cana and absolutely loved it. This year im looking for a cheaper option and considering this location. The one thing that im worried about is the size/vibe of the pool/swimup bar. I don't care for the activities, and that seems to take up 1/2 of the area. Not looking for a huge party area just enough space to float around and not feel crowded. Any thought? Is this the spot? Another recommendation? Keep up the good work
Hi! This pool is smaller than the ones at Punta Cana, that said the resort is also smaller in general. We really enjoyed this spot! For the price you can’t really go wrong. Give it a shot! We’d be happy to help! Https://PenyakTravel.com/contact
I was there when it was Secrets Capri and it looks like it lost is classic, Hacienda style and has gone for a more generic look of all the new or renovated resorts in the Cancun/Riveria Maya area.
I was there 6 weeks after they opened. At the time, the were very little activities, so I'm glad to see that has improved. And for only having 3 a la carte restaurants, I had wished that the menus were more extensive. But, all in all, we had a really nice time.
Do they offer excursions like snorkeling, cenotes etc? Do you have to pay extra for those? Wondering if I should rent a car and book those activities by myself!
Love the resort!! I know there are so many great adults-only resorts in that region of Mexico but you guys should consider visiting and giving a review Barcelo Maya Riviera. We went there and found it to be awesome. Especially seeing and hearing how you two compare the other elite adults only resorts in RM/Cancun, I feel like Barcelo Maya Riviera is under the radar and it’s actually also great for its value!
What did you like better - this resort or Impressions Moxche? Both are adult only all inclusive in a similar area so I'm having a hard time deciding where to go with my husband for his birthday in January! Appreciate your recommendation!
Love the videos and podcast and I've searched for many similar videos on RU-vid...quick question for you...if you had to choose between (Cancun) Secrets Akumal, Atelier Playa Mujeres, Hyatt Zilara, (Punta Cana) Lopesan Costa Bavaro or Margaritaville Cap Cana...which would you choose for 2 non-couple adults to just relax for a week?
Depends on how important the beach is. The beaches are amazing at Hyatt Zilara and Secrete Akumal. If you’re not going to spend a tremendous time at the beach, I’d rank them Hyatt Zilara/Atelier (tie), Secrets Akumal close 2nd. The Lopesan and Margaritaville are probably 3 star resorts and aren’t really close in comparison to the other 3.
Cozy resort. Did you see any of the swim up rooms? Do you think they're worth the extra money? It seems like a small resort so the walk to the pool doesn't seem long.
It is a smaller resort, we did see some oceanfront swim out rooms, looked really nice! Given the price point of this resort they are very much worth it! Thanks for tuning in! ☺️
Great video. I have a question about the bathrooms, from pictures I’ve seen it looks like there isn’t much privacy between the bathroom and the main part of the room, is that correct? Sometimes I travel with a sister or friend and we’d prefer privacy while showering so if there’s no way to separate the bathroom this wouldn’t work for us. Thanks.
Fully private. I traveled with a friend from high school. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room and the bathroom was fully private. There is a sliding door to the shower.
We are going at the end of the month, loved the video!! Did you tip every meal and every time you got drinks? I hate that idea, would rather tip at the end, but wouldn’t want it to affect our service 🤔
Yeah, it won’t affect service, but it was good so we didn’t mind. Few bucks at meals and if we sat at the swim up bar for a few we would definitely leave a few bucks up front to keep the drinks flowing ✈️🏝️🍾🥂🥃
