In this video I show a vocal reverb trick that I use during mixing to achieve a clean mix. All you will need is a compressor and reverb plugin. You can use this technique in FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton, or any other DAW.

I usually do it with delay effects. But it is a good idea to do it with reverb.

great video! Is it possible to route more than one channel to this compressor? example this effect also in adlibs... or another r comp is needed for this to happen

You could, but I’d probably use separate compressors because you might not want as much ducking on a certain track.

Thumbs up! Did you divide 60,000 by the BPM of your song then multiply the result by 2 to find your decay time in this video? And diid you divide 60,000 by the BPM of your song then divide the result by 2 to find your pre delay time this video? Thanks

Exactly, but I will adjust it a little based on feeling of the song if needed.

I do the same 60,000 / BPM then divide by 8 or 16 notes with compression, seems to help 🤷🏼‍♂️ but don't know if it's correct. Lol
