A few tips: 1. If you want more weapons, get the second perk (left to right) found in the skill tree. You can gain access to guns like the Hardkill (a shotgun with 3 types of ammo choices, one of which can be used to unlock doors) or the H110 (a marksman rifle that has over penetration, good for shooting thru doors) 2. There are traps on these doors, but I suspect you know that already. To counter them without a camera gun, unlock any doors with a lock pick, peek the door (you can select the option to open the door slightly by going up to the door hinge, pressing space, and pushing your body against the door), and check for a wire. If there is, keep opening the door while your eyes and body are close to the wire until a scissor icon pops up. Press space on that scissor icon, and the trap is diffused. Or you could just stand very far away and shoot the nade 3. Cuff every hostage you see. If you don’t have any more zip ties, you can force them to follow you
1) pretty sure its called perturbator. (Dont quote me) 2) they make a loud buzz sound, enemies can and will open them, the shield can block the trap (might be outdated). 3) tazer. No exp, put tasser will "kill" npcs (doesn't count as kill). You can convert hostages without zip tieing them.
Yoooo fun fact, bean bag rounds don't work on former hostages. Shot a hostage that picked up a gun 8 times. The second he hit the floor he got back up. Every time
I'm happy that this game is back up, only for a few days though sadly. Also here's a good class setup if you do decide to play it more, if the class worked for me it should hopefully work for you. (and newcomers) Class: N8 ETD (auto or semi, hit V to change mode), LeemanN24. Gear 1: Lockpick, 2 Health pens, 2 zip ties, 1 flashbang, Door wedge. (or 3 flash and no door wedge) Gear 2: Camera gun, 2 zip ties, health pen, Lockpick. Hopefully that helps and this is (was) the "second" DEMO, failure is part of the fun and experience. I hope you enjoyed the game though. Edit/Tip: hit the F key 2-3 when they begin to surrender and ALWAYS (if you are able to) secure enemies/"civilians" (Sorry for the big wall of text by the way)
Love the game, sad it's going. Wonder when it'll be back. Anyways, been wanting to discuss this game for a while. Velata is better then the n2 in every way. EXCEPT it's not suppressed. Thats it. N8: It's hard to justify the auto function. Semi auto one taps, it's great. Don't reccomend the 1889 or more expensive items until you're experienced. recommend taking a lock pick, 3-4 zips, a wedge, and as many health pens as you can bring. Lock picking gives exp, and it's silent (easier to hostage combatants) zips give lots of exp and prevents stabbers & task force Wedge WILL save your life. Getting flanked? Wedge. Low in a gun fight? Wedge. Breaching in a hall? Wedge. Health pins for when you inevitably get shot. The velata is cheap, and better then the n2a1 (fight me). Because it's so dependable you can skimp on secondaries. If you got spare budget take flashes. The other gadgets are neat, but I recommend sticking to this until you get the ropes. Bare bones "tactical" loadout. Forces you to learn how things work. Cam gun eats a ton of budget, and you can breech most rooms blind if you think a lil. Overcharge WILL down you after 11 seconds. Never use when solo. Hammer: LOUD, dont take unless you NEED speed. (Cough* spice cave, extremety, no mask) Plates save you (difference of one bullet), but you're to low to do anything after. Just take a hp pen Sneakers: be patient. 4 out of your 16 budget. Not worth it, ever. Shield: 8 out of 16 budget. Can't have gun and shield out.
The explosions are traps on the door. All equipment you really need are the camera gun, 1 Thing of zip ties and a lock pick. I can give you some more help if you want. Don't bother asking but I don't feel like typing a lot rn.
Also another tip, take a few seconds to check whether there is a fuse sound, kinda sounds like static. If there is, slightly open the door by looking at the door handle then press space, push a bit till u see the rope then press space to cut it.
If you're confident in breaching and don't mind spending up to 4 extra minutes save 6 budget and buy something else. Clearing and zipping ever npc gives tones of exp and is good practice.
I’m not gonna bother your opinion this game does look pretty cool. But tbh I feel like ready or not has more intensity so I can get PDHD ready or not just got there suspect balancing tho.
@@JoshJonya I didnt have anything except discord and the game open, and my phone was across the house. Also my browser has blockers to keep sites from using my mic and my computer has the settings that disable apps from using my mic unless authorized manually by me. :D....
I love how you go from 70 to 100. I feel like just _a few_ levels were skipped 😆 But then again this is my first time playing the game so I have no clue the difficulty in gaining levels.
@@JoshJonya The higher your level the harder it becomes, The difficulty does affect your XP gain too! Also fun fact! You can gain bonuses such as "Non-civilian kills (Don't kill any Civilians)" "Solo Mission (Complete a Mission alone)" "First attempt (Complete a Mission *WITHOUT* Failing once!)" The harder the Bonus is the More your XP will be multiplied!
@@JoshJonya A Hostile Civilian are those who are *Holding a Gun, Running away and Charging you with a Knife* And I'm absolutely aware I just made a wall of text, but I hope it helps :)
Yes. I have gotten a few questions about Hellmet not working after purchasing it and that is because the original went down as it was only available for a brief testing period. Thanks for pointing that out!
@@ManicObsevations I enjoy both and their approach to balance! Both have plenty of mechanics which need tweaking to approach the realism they want to achieve :D Then again, I'm not a game developer, so I only know so much.
Fun fact: When you're about to evacuate, you can see G-Man noob on the the building which Josh found for a split second Edit: Unlocked doors are the only doors that have a chance to be rigged with traps
Only unlocked doors!? I spent so much time checking every door 😭 Also, what’s a G-Man noob? They the same… “species” as the ones from Dummies Vs Noobs?
@@sanzhar6399 not sure if this is supposed to be sarcastic, also the helmet cam in RoN is optional, just because it has one similar thing doesnt make it a ripoff
That's a extremely bold statement as hellmet has horrible health scaling as shown from juggernauts in the game, the game also has npcs that glitch and break, and hellmet is nowhere near surpassing ready or not, you'd wish in a thousand years that a roblox game would surpass a fully established game by real police anyway it's a okay game, it's really buggy and the storyline is a little vague, but the gunplay and view in roblox is really cool, it's unique to roblox and it could be one of the top games on the platform rather then those anime and simulator games that are just copies, but better then ready or not is an overstatement also nice content, keep up the great work
I do agree that there are plenty of bugs and things to be fixed with Hellmet, as can be said for many games. Let me also give context. Prior to this video I had done a Ready or Not challenge and found that Ready or Not’s AI was VERY unfair, leading to a LOT of frustration because I would (typically) put myself in strategic positions and end up horrendously butchered. In other words, I was heavily biased when titling the video for a free game. 😆 So, in short, Ready or Not’s AI is my main gripe. And yes, there is a mod to fix it, but I feel that such a fix should be “vanilla.” Thanks for the constructive critique!
@@JoshJonya No matter how strategic your placement is, a bullet doesn't care (but damn some of those AI be shooting better than the team that took out Osama)
