This Robot Can Paint Human-Like Portraits 

As an artist who also does portraits, I don’t know if I should be impressed or nervous

I have a device called a printer that can do a pretty damn accurate portrait too

So what? ... My H.P. printer at home basically does the same thing at a faster rate. In some ways, it uses the same tech. Same task using different mechanical methods.

Bob Ross would be proud.

I’m confused by a robot needs to paint a portrait when it can print out a portrait more efficiently.

Imagine if they turn this robot into a miniature machine that can capture real life and render them into storable, viewable images!

What I never understood about these particular robots. Is why do people try to make them as human like possible. I think maybe it's just some achievement mindset. But tbh there's so much more things that could be done with robots like maybe attach 15 arms.

The money they spend trying to create a human could go to real humans in desperate need of food, homes, clothing, education, medical supplies and life saving surgeries. Quit trying to “play God” and take care of your fellow human beings and the innocent animals.

There's a blind Turkish guy who is able to paint forrest and butterflies, buildings and nature etc. all from his imagination. Really impressive considering he was born blind, but this damn printer gets all the credit. "A lot of inspiration from different places..." yea right. IT'S A PRINTER THAT CAN CONNECT TO THE INTERNET!

Just a human shape printer... next time would be AI human using a 3D glue gun to make sculptures, can sew clothes, cutting paper, blowing cold air from their mouth, or a singing robot
