I don't know anything about these rods, but I do know south coast rods, I brought a set of free spirits off them during covid and met the guy in the clip who sold them to me. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Purchased a set of these a few days ago and can't wait to get out and use them for the first time. Excellent customer service from the guys throughout as well. Also entered the competition to win a set so🤞
These rods look incredible and absolute monsters for casting but forgiving for playing fish from distance I'd love a set of these all there rods look amazing have to start saving
In the comp, could do with some new rods, my current rods, one has a cracked handle n the other has an eyelet guide missing, these would be awesome, keep up the great work and videos guys 😊
Hi there. Looks like you are on the right track on becoming a notable brand among the carp rod specialists, and even a serious contender for the best of them. Kudos for what you already achieved, wish you guys all the best for the future. One question, if I may: what are the plans to eventually bring SCR to a more "international" level? By this I mean a better presence on the Continent market (not only regarding sales, but also service, warranties and so on)?
What happened at 16:28? Someone turn up to fish on the left or something? Totally changed where he was casting 😂 also did the camera fall in the lake because the pictures turned as clear as dish water?
How many anglers really fish at 30 plus wraps? There's a massive difference between casting and 130 yards and fishing that far. You really need a marker and spod set up, that can reach that sort of range..
Both our ST12 and ST13 rods have a super fast recovery that does support more accurate casting and the action does help put more yards on your cast. I can personally cast the ST13 further than any other 13ft rod I’ve cast and I’ve used many 13ft rods over the years, and I’m an average caster.
@@southcoastrods4301 I'm 53. I've done lots of sports. No matter what equipment you have it won't make you better. If you want to cast further and more accurate go see Terry Edmonds or another casting coach. If buying things made you better life would be boring.
@@SeanRidley-g7zagree to disagree on this one. Having casting lessons will improve your casting but no point in trying to cast 160 yards with a 2.75lb rod, you need to right tools for the job.
Sorry what a crap video. Yes they most probably are nice rods but didn't show them at all only one quick pic of them. 10 mins of just chatting. At least show the rods off.
@southcoastrods4301 look forward to seeing it as I am looking for new rods but don't want Korda or Wolf stuff. So was looking at Diawa but saw your rods and got me interested
@@steve00712you won’t be disappointed, our rods have the specification of what you would find on the most expensive rods on the market, but without the high price point.
