In super Mario RPG there was a frog coin you could only get at the start when a toad walked down the hallway. You used his head to get up. If you missed it then.... RIP

I would say it's a bad thing, overall. If the item in the room was actually important, they'd probably notice the issue and patch it out.

in the OG game there was really amazing items in there i think, not anything you can't buy but still a huge bummer if you missed it

you should try ttyd on a emulator on pc or the remastered one. great game if youre into mario

It's only a "god item" if you're not wasting at least half the recovery. The game is plenty easy to finish with half the amount of HP/FP that the Jelly Ultra heals (right now, I'm bound for the final boss at 25 HP/30 FP and the only point that I got close to losing was against Cortez...I didn't have enough AoE damage for him)...why would I waste two rare and expensive items on healing when a Zess Special ((Turtley Leaf + Horsetail) + (Mushroom + Fire Flower)) basically fills everything (20 HP/20 FP)?

@@PFGFrankly, that's also depends on the build...the Pit can be wiped fairly easily with the "Danger Mario" build.

Yeah, I did this about a month ago to check if the game automatically assumes that you've obtained them after the cutscene. Amswer: It doesn't, they're still there to obtain 😂

@@SillierPutty Yeah but the name fitted more since he would be creating constant illusions and fake places, even a fake Rougeport, fake companions, and the only survivor in the fake Rougeport, a Dayzee who is immune to its Illusions. Since those Illusions are from his singing, singing that he learned from actual sirens and made Mario believe it was Rougeport, well kinda. Since "Doomtail" never knew how Rougeport looked like so he made it like a normal port with a normal population, and assumed how each character acted like, giving you little tips that they are not real. Like Goombella being more dumb(and making Tattle useless but funny), Koops being braver, Flurry being less horny for Mario, Gonzales Jr. calling you Mario, Bobbery acting like a stereotypical pirate and I don't remember If you have Vivian after beating the new amigo in Keelhaul Key but there is when it happens, you are coming back to Rouge port and a water tornado catches you and the crew, then you are in a suspiciously clean Rougeport out of nowhere, then your amigo says its goodbye, but he doesnt call you amigo since he has been captured allow side everyone else in the boat. The cool thing is that this could be a bait to make people think that the mod is badly made thinking all the characters are wrongly made and everything out of place but it was... *sigh* Doomtail... all along, until you find the Dayzee asl well. There HE tells you that everything is fake and snaps you out of it and reveals everything is fake and those companions were sirens in disguise, then he joins you to fight back the 5(or 6) sirens. His main ability is to stun enemies out of combat with his screech(since dayzees sings he would screech like a metal singer) since the actual place is filled with sirens and they are not easy enemies and getting the first strike can mean the win. His attack is the spear charge, where you tap A fast and charges forward like those birds, with a full charge doing it 2 times(forgot to tell he uses a spear). The second ability is the Screech, being in combat the screech causes all enemies to become dizzy and/or confused, to hit it is like guarding the actual Dayzee attack but with a different sound, but with the same timing by pressing A. it will deal little to no damage but it cannot deal less than its initial values. With the 3rd it can be some cool movements with the spear where he runs away into the back of the stage and positions himself on the other side outside of view and there you press Y and X independently for when he charges through all enemies in each direction. He can charge through the enemies dealing damage with its spear up to 4 times, and then he runs back to Mario to its position. Missing the timing of the Y or X presses makes him fall over and making him run back sad looking at the floor. The 4th can be a loud scream where he creams directly on Mario's ear making him dizzy and wavy for 1 turn and giving him a massive damage boost for 4 turns(idk I just came up with this one on the spot since I never thought abot this this far but yeah I dont have anything for what to preses to preform this move) failing makes Mario not become wavy and make him dizzy for 2 turns, mediuming it will make Mario dizzy and wavy for 1 turn and give him a damage boost for 2 turns. sorry for bad english, or bad writing, but I havent eaten breakfast in like 4 hours yet.

Yes, there's badges called the "L Emblem" and "W Emblem". One makes you Luigi-colored, one makes you Wario-colored, and wearing both makes you Waluigi-colored.

Expanding from the above reply, the “L Emblem” badge can be found in Poshley Sanctum, and the “W Emblem” badge can be purchased from the merchant at Rougeport Square for a few hundred coins.

Expanding on the above reply, the W Emblem in the Remake now costs 432 coins as opposed to the original GameCube version costing 360.

Not expanding on anyone's replies, but did you know if you take the W emblem into Twilight Town during chapter 4 in the remake, Doopliss copies your colors as well, and even stays yellow if you take the badge off

​@@Victini862, eh, it's really only a downgrade if you could use the healing without wasting a huge chunk of it. If you've got 50+ HP and FP, sure, a Jelly Ultra is great...but who's running that much? I'm gearing up for the final push (I've finished Chapter 7) and I'm at 25/30 HP/FP, so a Jelly Ultra is gonna be a waste (Zess Special is 20/20 recovery and costs a whopping 8 coins to purchase the ingredients...if you don't have them to hand, that is).
