I still find it insane that he has no skills named after him (eponymous) considering his signature moves and unparalleled skill... still time though. 🤯🤯
This gymnast is unbelievable and it's an absolute pleasure watching this routine. I watch with a dumbass smile on my face in absolute amazement. Respect.
to my understanding the execution starts at 10 and his was flawed so 10-8.773, his execution, is 1.267 16.7, his difficulty, -1.267, his error(s) is his final score, 15.433 i was trying to figure this out too as a non gymnast. I’m not sure if this is correct, but the numbers match here
D score = 0.5 per element groups presented, 0.5 for D+ dismounts, the sum of the difficulties of the 10 skills that counts in the D notes, connection bonus, minus penalty, in this routine, all of that adds up to 16.7
hey hey that thing you did where you put the scores for each move? it's great because I have a clearer picture of how difficulty affects the scores in the gymnastics
And the crazy part is he dosent even float. A lot of professional parkourists and other sports that involve airtime often look like there floating. This Mf still catching the bar while hurdling full speed towards the ground.
Hm, I’m surprised the execution score is that high when he readjusted his grip so many times and was very late on the pirouette. Do the judges overlook very minor grip adjustments?
now i have a question. if an athete makes a trick themselfes and judges have never seen that trick before, and beacuse tricks got their own votings (example for a twist is "0,03+ points") but if judges have never seen that trick before how will they vote for the trick? (sorry for my bad english)
First comment! Btw, I used to think gymnastics was easy, but since I started watching your videos, I saw that it was so hard! That routine looks almost impossible to me!
@@flocab9110 ::: yeah....? towards the end of the routine, in a handstand where he's doing 180s back and forth towards the center of the bar, his hands are constantly readjusting position and grip. i know that in US gymnastics, that can deduct points for excessive grip adjustments... _i think i heard that right?_
