This RUINED My Hair! Hair Colouring DISASTER ❌ 

Your video is so relatable to me as I've just been through this horrifying experience of hair color , i feel like crying the color i showed them & the color they did is just absurd i just can't even step out without covering my head😢

This is a lesson of a video and its very important to keep in mind to show what you want ur hair to look like and whether it's honestly possible or not ,I had a similar experience but not as bad as urs ,I had a balayage it had receded I asked to add highlights to the crown the colour just didn't show up as I wanted it to and my hairstylist is a sweetheart she did a correction and gave me lighter shade of highlights all over again, so moral is be sure of which hair stylist your choosing.. I know you will take it as a life lesson so happy u finally did end up getting what you want because that hair was looking terrible

I get my hair colored in dark red all the time, you can simply get red done without prelightening. 😀 My stylist uses Schwarzkopf L89 shade for global. It's a dark red shade. You can also use Loreal Majirel 6.62, it's a beautiful shade. Hope this helps ✨

I have had a bad experience with pre-lightening too

Same things happened with me and ends got damaged too, i have horrible split ends now so i cut my hair in layers. Really want to grow my hair and keep my natural hair colour in future 🙁

I had a hair colour done . I wanted plum but got pink highlights instead. Still i quite liked it. My hair has become blonde completely in some parts. Those hairs are brittle n wrinkled. It was initially pink but after just one wash. The pink dye went away. I am quite confused what to do. My hairs are healthy on other parts. But the blonde portion is completely brittle.

Hello… Can u pls suggest which hair salon u went to that fixed ur hair for good and u were happy with.. I had similar experience did red color a month bk and went for root touch up after a month and the stylist said my color has faded so I asked him if I can go brown and he said yes and prelight my hair.. I was not told about the risks damage nothing whatsoever.. u can imagine what I am going thru.. my hair volume has decreased and I need to go to right salon for the repair treatment.. pls suggest a good salon in Mumbai.. thanks..

Shivangi Di, I had faced this same issue though I didn't had red hair with 1 of the renowned salon in my city too where I go regularly to do hair colour & highlights. I showed something else through a picture & told how I exactly wanted the colour in details to them but they did pre-light which I haven't done before. They also told me it will work & that brown was horrible like somebody spitted pan colour in my hair. It was not even brown, rather bad warm orange like yours. But luckily I did rework like you which fixed this issue & now it's a good ombre look on my hair.

This had exactly happened to me in 2019. Not trying to be a bit rude/mean this colour on your hair looks like someone has spit paan. I am really sorry if you felt this rude... My hair was fried and prelightening further ruined it. So much so that my hair was translucent!!! The only thing that saved me was: Olaplex in-salon treatment; Olaplex #3 twice a month; and regular usage of Kerastase Resistance Masque Therapiste Mask + Kerastase Baim Therapiste Shampoo..

Shivangi I experienced the same and was so so dissapointed....I used to apply heena so even post bleaching 2,3 times the expected blonde color didn't show....my hair looked orange....after so much effort it became a bit brown..... What products you use for after care

I had done a purple highlights and within weeks some parts changed to white and green. It was a disaster and i complaint to the salon and they redone it with red highlights and still it changed to white and green. I don't know what to do now.. Do u have any advice ?

What the second stylist told you that red is difficult to get off should have been told by your first stylist. And u should really write a review so that ppl are cautious before going to that salon.
