I just purchased a Primetime Spartan (5th wheel toy hauler) from Explore USA in Rockport. Found out Forest River owns Primetime so that's where a little crossover is coming from. They're a nice trailer and put quality where it counts from what I've seen

I love the carpet in my Grand Design. It's easier to clean and help insulate it from the open air underneath.

I love the bathroom in the kitchen area, keeps ppl from going through my bedroom to get to the bathroom especially when you have guess staying with you. Beautiful.

The carpet in the living room is nice. You can leave your shoes at the bottom of the stairs and keep it clean.

I have a 15 Prime Time Crusader. The smaller brother to this. It’s been a good trailer with no major issues other than I ripped off the sewer connection when I couldn’t avoid a tire tread on the road.

First thing is scrap the axles and hangers. Put bigger ones Better hangers, I'm talking air ride that thing would ride like a Cadillac. I'm giving away all my custom secrets. Now for the biggest one 2 wheel axles. For the one's that don't know. 4 tires per axle, total of 8. Yes it can be done. Fix the slides so the floor doesn't go bad. I got more but it may be to much to handle, and besides I can't give all my secrets out. Have fun and travel.

I like the colors. I don't like no night stands/shelves as you noted. I don't like the half bath toilet supply hose routing. Nice unit still.

Reminds me a lot of the older Open Range models you used to see. Those things were GARGANTUAN and they had this sort of color scheme on the inside. I wish that front livingroom was walled off instead of having the awkward bartop to further contain the noise and enhance the coziness factor. That bedroom setup is definitely a miss. Large bed is nice, but shelves up top or beside the bed are a must. Also speaking on the color choice, i think the craze for flash white is dumb. Our dealership managed to actually get one of the Grand Design Solitudes in White before everyone else, a prototype with all the upgraded stuff you see on a lot of RVs now (and mismatched slide trim and doors because prototype) about a year from their integration into normal main line units, and they were ADAMANT that we give it back because they were afraid it would keep people from buying the heaps of tan colored ones still on lots because SO MANY people were asking for them in white. When a simple thing like color is enough to make a manufacturer offer to buy back what you purchased and transport it back themselves out of fear for affecting sales, you know its getting ridiculous. Bring back the light blues and greys, soft yellows and browns that used to be on everything. It looks better and runs with a decal set better, and wont blind you in the sun.

Glad that you were able to review the SANIBEL line of 5th wheel trailers. They are not heavily advertised as the Big leaders in the industry, but my experience in having been a livaboard for 8 years in a 2014 SANIBEL 3501, is that the quality and durability of construction is MORE than equal to those units that cost THOUSANDS of $$$ more.

The carpet in the living room and under the dinette is a NO! As far as the floorplan as a whole, it is very nice. I like the living room in the front. I agree with you about the toilet in the full bathroom. They should have closed it off. I really like the kitchen area. Thanks for another great video.

It was very nice until you went the bedroom. Not a fan on the bed layout and the bath looked cheap compared to others. Really loved how they did the living room. That's different..

I often wonder why manufactures don't just make the bed slide outs wide enough to accommodate BOTH bed and night stands. i mean if you're going to pull 40 feet down the road, whats 42?

Do you think a manufacturer would ever build a unit that is meant for full timers with kids with the space and load out of a toy hauler without being a toy hauler. Most are dual axle but would love a triple axle for towing and load capacity.

The side in size doesn’t matter. Because you can’t be in it when it’s going down the road, you have to be up in the toe rig. The only time you can be in that thing is when it’s parked, and the side out are out.

Forest River uses that exterior color on some of their other brands as well. I like the unit however, I would rather have a butlers pantry instead of the half bath. There didn’t seem to be much cabinet space in the kitchen. Also they should have used an under mount sink in the kitchen. The sink they used looks cheap. Otherwise it’s a nice looking unit.

I really like this RV, but I wished that they would have not had the bathroom open into the kitchen. They should have done the door open onto the other side and used a pocket door for it. Bathrooms in a Kitchen in a big fail for me.

Very Nice, Great Price..... so , so, on the carpet if Living in 24/7 - 365 and in winter months, carpet is warm. But will wear faster no 50% 50% on carpet. Half bath is nice. Brush your teeth in half bath lol

I'm not a fan of all the different colors going on. Wish there was more space around the gas stove, and nightstands. Also in the main bathroom, it appears that the bottom cabinet doors will hit the toilet.

Ditch the half bath and make the kitchen bigger with additional counter space. Do not like the RV’s with no counter space! Just my 2 pennies.

Definitely would take all the carpet out .. would be a nightmare to clean as you are camping with beach sand etc/ not a fan of the layout the living room is nice but it makes the rest seem chopped up 🤷‍♀️

Carpet makes it look cheap. Kitchen sink looks cheap too. Don't like the color of the wood accent. Instantly makes the RV look old and dated.

I think it’s very cheap looking compared to most other fifth wheels you’ve covered. I don’t like how they skirted and used cheap pin box when your safety factor is ultra high for towing! And I don’t like color, awning configuration is unusable and inconvenient at best! Bathrooms toilets are weak as well, shower head just a cheap imitations! Overall I’d give this a 5/10. Too many little things to make me not think of buying it because of its cheapness!
