I too share your excitement for this floor plan. As a single person, this would be the perfect RV and the right amount of space to feel roomy and comfortable. The hidden room is a major plus that could be used as an office, craft/hobby room, editing suite…whatever your needs. The tilting bed was also a great design choice that allows a larger bed with a smaller footprint. Clever. Plus, the overall design aesthetic is modern and clean.
Beware of Forest River/Rockwood/Flagstaff models. Mine had serious manufacturing defects which they admitted to, towed the camper back to the factory, then proceeded to return it to me severely damaged. They've agreed to fix the easy, cheap stuff but not the expensive, important stuff. If you think I'm just one disgruntled customer, take a look at the Better Business Bureau's Forest River page - 1 star out of 5. If I can help just one person not go through the months long agony and financial hardship I have, it will be enough. Thanks for reading.
this camper is gorgeous! Perfect for my husband and I. The bonus room could be an office with extra storage which I love the idea of. A king bed awesome. Neither my husband nor I are over 6 foot. The windows! I just love it and plan to purchase this or one slightly larger in 2024! 🌻🌻🌻
I just bought a Wildwood 22ERAS and it has the same decor. We love it. The only problem is we haven’t even slept in it yet and the bed incliner broke already. Apparently you put a lot of stress on it if you lift it with the head raised. I’m going to reinforce it myself if they won’t fix it right away.
Off that sucks bud! If you watch Josh the RV Nerd he has mentioned that Forrest Rivers says you have to have the bed down to lift to access the storage underneath
The flip down counter too could have another fold, giving you the option to use with the smaller flip down, or double the size for more counter too or a larger eating/working area, but folds back underneath while not using. There's definitely enough room.
The floor plan isn't too bad. I like that this rig can be used parking lot boondocking. Granted, the living room and the kitchen will probably be wholly unuseable with the slide in. It's a good compromise with the restroom and bedroom fully accessible!
I think as you mentioned I saw this in a Salem..... but no one showed us how to make that bunk into a desk. Brilliant. If you need a desk and want to tow it with a half-ton, this might just be the one for you.
This is outstanding. I love sunlight. I've been debating on a TT or smaller toy hauler. I think this would be a great full time RV for me and my dog and a half ton truck. Debating on this and the smaller view.
Hey Myles is the bar stool you mentioned ( near the nook where you put your sunnies) for the bunk room / office space . I notice it looks different to the other breakfast bar stools .
How do you feel about slides? We went with one with no slides, but eventually we'll upgrade. Are slides better/longer lasting than they used to be? Are leaks still an issue?
I love this! Can I tow this with my Jeep grand Cherokee summit v8? It has a maximum tow 7200, this camper is 6024 pounds dry. If I keep the tanks empty when traveling and pack lightly, I'll probably end up 6700 pounds with wife and kid in car. Just worried this RV is so big at 33.5 feet that my short wheel base on Jeep will be too much. My payload is 1160. Is this too big to tow with my Jeep? Or do I need a Chevy 1500 or F150? Trying to make the best and safest decision, and hoping some experienced RV folks can help out here?
I tow our 24View with a V8 2022 F-150 with a 9,600 tow rating, towing package, and weight distribution bars. Anything over 60mph can be a white knuckle experience, especially as semi's pass you. A half ton pick up is the minimum requirement for this RV, especially once you start outfitting it for camping. Anything less, and you risk overloading your tow vehicle, and creating a dangerous situation for yourself and others on the road. Definitely recommend a truck for this one!
I have a thought, who earth would buy an RV with the bathroom 4 feet from the couch? Why on earth they didn’t put the bathroom on the other side of the bedroom is beyond me. Never ever would I buy this. However, having said that Miles, you did a great job, showing, I love your videos!
Forest River,And anything they brand,Coachman etc is junk,They have their name attached to many brands and all have manor defects caused by shabby assembly.
