You’re told that an alternate dimension that goes on forever exists - you are shocked. You see this realm with your very eyes - you are shocked again. Knowing about something and seeing something are different. You know Saturn exists, but if you ever get the chance of seeing Saturn, you will be excited, shocked, awed at the beauty. Them knowing about the dimension doesn’t mean they won’t be shocked at seeing the dimension, so this scene changes nothing.

It’s still a plot hole tho, bc that would be a really big thing to bring up, if only like one of them saw it, it would’ve been better reasoning for of not disclosing crucial info, like oh we saw a portal filled with demons and then it disappeared instantly.

@@mentra1its not a plot hole, cuz they cant do anything about the sbility in the first place. They also know nothing about its lay-out or how the ability can even work or what restrictions it has. For all they know, the demons escaping from the ruins can only enter the Infinity castle under strict conditions. And they didnt know about Nakime being ble to open many portals and her eyes spying on each member of the Corps to pull them in. They have never even seen Nakimew ability upto that point and Sanemi only realized the infiltration was happening until Muzan was already in the Ubayashiki residence.

This first episode of season 5 is the introduction of infinity castle and how it works and appears. So when all the Hashiras jumped and tried to kill Muzan, ppl watching wouldn't be confused as to how the castle appeared out of nowhere and transported them inside.

@tusou1247 it showed only their interaction in the inside and not how they have been summoned, or how they entered an entrance, etc. You can't just expect the watcher's to not be confused after infinity castle appears in front/below them. Thats why they showed that first to Sanemi and Iguro on the first episode, but it was also a plothole since they never told this major information to anybody..

Reminder, while we the viewers know exactly what the infinity castle is in all its glory, Sanemi and Obanai had no idea what it was they were glimpsing at. A mere spectacle or an illusion at best they thought. Sanemi even tells Obanai later on that it’s been bugging him throughout the entire training arc and that he went back multiple times and nothing. He didn’t want to seem like he was crazy to the others because he himself was unsure. It’s that little bit of perspective that’s frustrating at first, until you realize that they none of the hashiras really know about it fully until that final moment when they all attack Muzan.

i think the fact that they saw the infinity castle prior, as with in the anime, the continuity of the manga makes more sense. otherwise, it wouldn't make sense how prepared the ubayashiki, the crows, and yushiro were so prepared. they had the crows be the eyes and ears to map out the infinity castle's layout to find muzan.

They only saw a very brief glimpse of the IC. They didnt even set their foot on it. The only thing that obanai n sanemi know: theres another dimension that demons can enter n leave. And thats all. How that dimension work, who is operating that dimension. These two crucial information was still very much in the dark.

Not only would an infinite looking dimension shock anyone. They’d still be shocked, because, yes, the Hasshira may have been told about the castle, it would still be extremely shocking, for doors to it to just appear below them. Like yeah they know it exists, why would they think doors to it could be opened anywhere, rather than just in the area they last saw it, or maybe only in buildings. From what they’ve knew about the castle, they’d have no reason to expect it to suddenly appear below them like that

HTA is now finished and obanai and sanemi didn't tell anyone abt it but (idk what episode) they both talked abt it for a short time and still wonders what they've gone through and it always wonder them from time and time. They didn't know it was called the infinity castle. They're just suspecting it could be a demon hideout. The reason (i think) they didn't tell anyone was they didn't even know how to explain it. It was like goin thru another dimension then goes back to their world. They didn't know what that is to be exact and didn't even know where is it or how they even get there.

The glimpse of the IC, and the revelation that Nakime was doing alot of recon work. That two point was important in fixing a few problems in the manga. - how did the ubuyashiki kids know how to guide the demonslayers through that castle? Coz from what little sanemi n obanai described of the castle: probably along the lines “lots of rooms”, “3D space”. What they couldnt have avoided despite any planning was the sheer randomness of the castle. - how in the holy heck did muzan find the ubuyashiki mansion? Coz this was a problem in the manga. All this while n muzan didnt find the mansion? Well, now we know: coz he ordered nakime to do some heavy lifting beforehand. And this made sense: once the demonslayers noticed the lack of demon activity dropped, this gave breathing room for training. Once training commenced… well, its gonna be pretty obvious where they were training.

Ruined? Nah, its not. Sanemi & Obanai just catch a glimpse of the alternate dimension, they knows nothing of it at all, let alone the knowledge of it was being The 'Infinity (dimension) Castle'. Remember Swamp Demon? They could generate its own dark dimension, Sanemi & Obanai more likely had already face similar situation bfr, so they'd be just the same shocked as in the manga knowing these time, it was Muzan's lair.

The main problem you guys are ignoring is that this means Sanemi and Obanai didn’t report about their encounter with the infinity castle. Even if they thought it was some illusionary blood demon art they should’ve reported it so the corps knew that a demon that could evade capture that easily was on the loose.

I feel like that scene was a way to hint the viewers where all the demons went to. And I think they did tell Kagaya about it. I kept thinking about the letter he sent to zenitsu. Maybe kagaya told zenitsu about the palace that's why he was ready when he went in.

What we’re hey supposed to do/react like? Knowing about the ability doesn’t do much to counter it especially with how far she can spread her ability. I don’t remember wether they told the others about the castle but even if they did, as many have said, knowing and experiencing is two separate things. Strange analogy here but bear with me: I know walk on a ‘crab game’ construction floor that randomly opens trap doors beneath you I will fall but that doesn’t remove the fact that when I walk there and the trap doors opens under me I will still get schooled and probably scream.

Whether they were told or not, being in a dimension warping place as a normal ass dude is going to throw you whether you were informed about it or not. It's supernatural beyond any reasonable thought or deduction. This scene didn't ruin anything and you're hard reaching brother.

Not sure you noticed but when sanemi and obaion went in to the infinity clastle the backround is yellow but when they all go in oabions is red and sanemi is yellow (yellow=live Red=dies)
