You’re told that an alternate dimension that goes on forever exists - you are shocked. You see this realm with your very eyes - you are shocked again. Knowing about something and seeing something are different. You know Saturn exists, but if you ever get the chance of seeing Saturn, you will be excited, shocked, awed at the beauty. Them knowing about the dimension doesn’t mean they won’t be shocked at seeing the dimension, so this scene changes nothing.

It’s still a plot hole tho, bc that would be a really big thing to bring up, if only like one of them saw it, it would’ve been better reasoning for of not disclosing crucial info, like oh we saw a portal filled with demons and then it disappeared instantly.

@@mentra1its not a plot hole, cuz they cant do anything about the sbility in the first place. They also know nothing about its lay-out or how the ability can even work or what restrictions it has. For all they know, the demons escaping from the ruins can only enter the Infinity castle under strict conditions. And they didnt know about Nakime being ble to open many portals and her eyes spying on each member of the Corps to pull them in. They have never even seen Nakimew ability upto that point and Sanemi only realized the infiltration was happening until Muzan was already in the Ubayashiki residence.

This first episode of season 5 is the introduction of infinity castle and how it works and appears. So when all the Hashiras jumped and tried to kill Muzan, ppl watching wouldn't be confused as to how the castle appeared out of nowhere and transported them inside.

Sanemi and Obanai could be thinking that they were hallucinating because of a blood demon art, so if they didn't tell any of the other Hashira or Ubuyashiki himself in the anime, this reason is valid Just imagine you trying to convince your boss and colleagues you saw this infinity castle thing, they'll send you to a mental hospital

I dnt think it ruined anything. Whether they tell them or not only sanemi and Obanai knows what the castle looks like physically from a glimpse. The others can still be shocked and amazed by the what it looks like from the inside when they get there.

They only saw a very brief glimpse of the IC. They didnt even set their foot on it. The only thing that obanai n sanemi know: theres another dimension that demons can enter n leave. And thats all. How that dimension work, who is operating that dimension. These two crucial information was still very much in the dark.

He's right because I during the last episode I saw so many people already guessing that Muzan is going to take all the Hashiras into the castle when all Hashiras charged at him. They wouldn't have guessed it if anime didn't show it to them from the beginning & he did it suddenly like in the manga. That anime only scene ruined the surprise factor.

Ruined? Nah, its not. Sanemi & Obanai just catch a glimpse of the alternate dimension, they knows nothing of it at all, let alone the knowledge of it was being The 'Infinity (dimension) Castle'. Remember Swamp Demon? They could generate its own dark dimension, Sanemi & Obanai more likely had already face similar situation bfr, so they'd be just the same shocked as in the manga knowing these time, it was Muzan's lair.

I think it's less about them not knowing about it, and more about them being in such a compromising situation- their master just died, Muzan is before them, a mix of rage, sadness and duty swirl I. Their hearts, and just as they are about to strike the man responsible for such treachery, a door opens below them and swallowed them into another dimension. Iunno, seems like a legit reason to be shocked.

The glimpse of the IC, and the revelation that Nakime was doing alot of recon work. That two point was important in fixing a few problems in the manga. - how did the ubuyashiki kids know how to guide the demonslayers through that castle? Coz from what little sanemi n obanai described of the castle: probably along the lines “lots of rooms”, “3D space”. What they couldnt have avoided despite any planning was the sheer randomness of the castle. - how in the holy heck did muzan find the ubuyashiki mansion? Coz this was a problem in the manga. All this while n muzan didnt find the mansion? Well, now we know: coz he ordered nakime to do some heavy lifting beforehand. And this made sense: once the demonslayers noticed the lack of demon activity dropped, this gave breathing room for training. Once training commenced… well, its gonna be pretty obvious where they were training.

It is possible that they tell but they don't fully convey how it was because there are only so many words feelings are complex and the degree of separation of hearing about it usually fails to carry the same impact as actually experiencing it.

Nah, it wouldn't change anything. HTA is now finished and obanai and sanemi didn't tell anyone abt it but (idk what episode) they both talked abt it for a short time and still wonders what they've gone through and it always wonder them from time and time. They didn't know it was called the infinity castle. They're just suspecting it could be a demon hideout. The reason (i think) they didn't tell anyone was they didn't even know how to explain it. It was like goin thru another dimension then goes back to their world. They didn't know what that is to be exact and didn't even know where is it or how they even get there.

Spoiler warning beware: The anime only scene actually provides more context to what will happen later on in the Infinity Castle arc, specifically the MAPPING OF INFINITY CASTLE using the kasugai crows and Yushiro's demon art through the guidance of the new Ubuyashiki. In the manga there was no precedence for this act because foresight alone would not be able to predict the odds of another dimension coming into play. Sanami and Obanai must have reported this information despite not knowing what to do with it, Ubuyashiki then planned accordingly.

Well actually there is another thing to notice in demon slayer that nezuko conquered the sun in the first episode itself when tanjiro goes back to his home in the morning and takes nezuko it was in the morning that nezuko became demon for the first time . Once check and correct me if I am wrong 😉

I don't get why this would ruin the initial experience just because 2 characters saw the infinity castle, they haven't been there (I mean literally inside) and don't know how the infinity castle works, etc. So I don't understand your point tbh, this scene was amazing, and Ibelieve that when they find themselves inside the infinity castle again they'd be equally shocked and perhaps experience a new set of emotions knowing that they are trapped in the lair of all the demons
