Your curiosity is rewarded. Good to see you uncovering stuff now. You have uncovered one piece of the puzzle. Tips and Hints Time: 1. The emerald tablets can be read. Just hug them for a bit to reveal their contents. They sometime provide meaningful hints to unlock and solve puzzles. You can pick em up and throw em too. 2. The wood you attempted to blow up had an outer casing of steel, which bombs arent strong enough to reliably destroy. 3. Just as you used the pit to fall down (Skipping an entire floor btw), you can also climb back up the pit. 4. Magic arrow does do more base damage than spitter bolt, and has further range. You still have an overwhelming amount of the game to discover.
Excellent job finding that boss! It's official name is 'Sauvojen Tuntija', or 'Conoisseur of Wands' in English, but in the community it is also known as 'The Bridge Boss' or 'Squidward. Now that you have explored the right direction of the first biome, you may want to do the same with one of the other biomes, trying to see if there's anything interesting in the right / left direction.
Nice runs! Good job finding squidward! All the tips I'd share have already been covered by the other commentators, so I'll just say these discoveries make it a satisfying video and progress is fine. I guess one tip - you say you skipped a checkpoint somehow but part of the post tutorial gameplay of noita is breaking out of the linear path you follow downwards and going wherever you want, whenever you want. It wasn't somehow - noita is an open world game, perhaps the most open world game. There are no checkpoints. Think of the Holy Mountains as locations instead. You just took a shortcut around them.
