He said all the way in the beta that tracker claims are weak now, and there's only been even more roles that mimic the tracker since then... So... It was inevitable to be a common fake claim.
So THAT'S how you win as Shroud in this game. Just be in a game with multiple of them in a way that flukes amazing synergy to protect each other AND has 1 coven, 0 apocalypse AND almost nobody with defense.
I actually had a game once that was 14 town and 1 illusionist. The illusionist won somehow, mostly because the entire town just imploded on itself looking for evils.
So weird that people roll NE roles and then just don't take it seriously. I get it when Townies phone in the game, but PB, Baker, Bers should be a near-guaranteed win if everyone was trying their best, and they just completely dropped the ball.
Seriously. I’ve had games where they dont even bother trying to defend themselves. l had a game where a psychic asked for roles from people in his evil vision, one of them straight claimed Arsonist and wouldn't ya know, they were arso. Its why I really dislike the “Honest player” gimmick people do in games. It makes the game more boring and less enjoyable for others.
@@Clancker1223 Honest Player gimmick is only fun on Jester because its causes actual chaos. Are they actually Jester and we are just mindgaming ourselves or are they just trying to sow doubt to not get lynched? Otherwise the "honest evil" gimmick is very tired generally.
Not only did they not provide adequate defense, their night time activities sucked as well. Baker gave bread to bers target. Pest did not act N1. Only Pipe played the role as he was supposed to but solo Bers is kind of weak without other evil factions dwindling town.
24:09 The Admirer's will was only on-screen for a split-second, but it said: n3(OH COME ON 10 WHY DID U SAY YES I WAS JUST TRYING TO COMF MY SELF WITH U) So they gave the evils a free townie death for nothing. Classic Admirer.
Comment is 9 months old, but they probably meant they were on their phone for other reasons. E.g. someone called them and they had to answer. I mean, it was a lie, and even if it wasn't it would have still been suspicious and worthy of getting hanged. But it's something that certainly does happen to some players. Heck, it wouldn't even need to be an emergency, maybe someone just decides to order a pizza at a really bad time and ends up being AFK for those few critical minutes they're getting called out.
I just rewatched this video on my Xbox and realized that 4 voted 5 in the berserker game. I'm a tad bit annoyed he didn't vote 5. Still found both these games great. Keep up the work pipe.
Eh. Doom shouldn't get that kind of information. It'd just lead to them figuring out NA and teaming up with them like how Pirate is basically treated as a second tavern keeper vigi for town.
I think the biggest WTF moment of the first game was that 12 left after they were about to get hung and then turned out to BE A FUCKING JESTER?!?! LIKE HOMIE YOU HAD IT IN THE BAG, WHY DIP???
I just played a CAA game of TOS1. SKs had majority with an exe on d3. We thought there were 3 of us. There were 4. 4 sks. We lynched a hidden jugg cause they weren't SK and the game ended.
I realized so late that i was in the game and died to pipe, just bought the game and am very happy, i was raven on the second game also known as the medusa
Whenever I claim trapper they immediately want me to say where it was placed. If I do they check next day and I'm lynched if I don't I'm lynched on the spot so I generally don't claim that anymore. I prob just need to actually look at what the role does when town trigger it.
I kinda wish this game had the goal of whatever role youre playing on the screen like the first game. As someone who doesn't play frequently it can be hard to remember what the new ones do as I'm going from video to video.
They both went for the same guy n1 but they had a Cleric protecting them, then the other shroud got jailed n2, then they decided not to attack n3 to hide that there was a second shroud
Gotta say, calling everyone that is immune to normal attacks a Arso instantly seems pointless. If anything, when hitting an immune, Arso is the least likely thing to have hit. Other immune roles are way more common.
Calling it arso sparks a fire in everyone's butt. No one wants a town fire to end their faction. So even if it isn't arso it's better to call it to get it lynched.
It’s because Arso is the most dangerous role to hit if immune. It’s better to assume Arso than get ignited 2 nights later just cause you thought a cleric healed your target.
Nah that first game i was 15 the sherrif and i accidentally clicked inno behind my notes menu and threw the game 😢 Nice game anyway pipe just know you should be dead 13:03
@@SquaredPastaThen that's problematic design; a visiting role should still _visit_ regardless of if their function fails due to their target being in jail. If a visiting role _fails to visit_ because their target is in jail, an attacker can't be tracked to the jailed victim. And that's bad.
I hate people that can't put their phone down ever. One of my buddies does that too on helldivers 2. Either put down the phone and play the game or get off
