Being able to scrub the cursor back and forth would make things so much easier to precisely choose an edit point. Studio One: please add scrubbing!!!!!

You can also hold control and press space to move the playhead to where your cursor is, and hold control + space while dragging click to scrub the playhead along your cursor :)

Also the advantage to this: you can be using any tool and it works!

Hi.Is there a way of selecting multiple track without a mouse left click ie one that can be assigned to a macro?
@johndavidtice

This has been my default setting for a looooong time, and it's one of the many reasons I find other DAWs insufferably annoying to use lol.

Joe, can I get your help with a macro? I have one set up for various types of slide notes. But when the macro transposes the notes it nudges the new notes to the right. How can I correct the nudge?

Hey Joe, Some idea(s) for Studio One tutorials... Like many other home recording folks, I don't have a convenient or affordable way to get good live drumming on my home recordings. I've been happy laying down drum tracks with my Alesis SR16 drum machine, but I'd like to learn how to make use of the Studio One metronome/bars feature. I suspect it would be super handy to use the bar system in Studio One. How can I lay down drum tracks in sync with the Studio One bars feature? I'm guessing there would be a way to use a Studio One synth instrument and midi? I've purchased a Korg MicroKey-37 Midi Controller, hoping to learn how to use midi but so far the abc's of implementing midi remain mysterious to me. Could you do something to help out with this kind of stuff? :-)

Hi! And a question about that… if I need to record using this behabiour (put the cursor on any space) why clicking record moves the cursor on the beggining of the bar? Thank you! And love your content!!!

Look for the metronome controls on the bottom section where the play and record buttons are. Then hit the button that’s directly next to the smaller circle button.

Hello Joe, there is a much easier solution in Studio One! Just move your mouse cursor in the Arrangement window on every place you like and press then Strg + Space bar (Windows) or Cmd + Space bar (Mac) and the time ruler will immediately follow this mouse cursor position. I do this every day, a million time in Studio One. You also do not need to change the Arrangement options for this behavior. You should update your video with this fundamental key shortcut.

This ability should be default in Studio One. Just like Ableton Live does it. Click anywhere, locate playhead there, and start playing. ANYWHERE, ANYTIME. Best solution by far.
