I am always happy to see that you are doing well. The cabin is doing nicely in its first winter, your hard work and attention to detail paid off as you seemed warm and comfortable while you were there. Looking forward to next video. Take care and be safe.
No bills until the following day, when he has to go back home and recharge all the video making stuff and other toys he has used to make this video... 😉😄
I live in Namibia, second least densely populated country on the planet. “Rofkamp” (rough camp), no tents, a gun (protection and supper) and water, is the best way to relax/ spend REAL quality time with my 2 boys! I agree-awesome feeling
I love your cabin the scenery is beautiful with all that snow and the tree's. I look forward to watching your videos. Just all around is breathtaking. Stay Safe and Healthy ALOHA From Hawaii ❤❤
The last cabin I built I had a separate room with vents so when it snowed it was my ice box for game I hunted plus I had a bathroom with a compost toilet
Hello from Indiana USA and this 63 year old lady.(Had my birthday this month). Thanks for sharing this enjoyable video with me. Yikes 😳😬 that's a lot of snow ❄️😮🎉. Stay safe and warm 💞❤❤❤.
The most wonderful thing about wood heat is that it allows the door to be open for fresh air to come in. Your cabin is spartan, but if that is what you like, then that's okay.
This guy seems to have a sore tushy, but h comes up with great solutions to keep going. Wears a pad on behind put a soft sheet on stool. Smart thinking.
I started with the outdoor boys which I adore but now follow people in Alaska which is brilliant just found this and it’s wonderful and by the way it’s my birthday on the 4th of April and I’m going to be 70 and I’m going on a cruise to Silvard in Norway to celebrate
Das sollte man in jüngeren Jahren durchführen, denn je älter man wird umso weniger kraft hat man. Ich wollte das mit 20 nicht wahrhaben und bin froh vieles kennengelernt zu haben. Viel Glück von Herzen ❤️
The thing is the log cabin has already been built. So it wasn’t as difficult as if the cabin hadn’t been built. The rest of the video is about relying on your own experience to get through until you can see the weather change for the better.
I spent a good part of my life doing just that only summer months as a baitfish harvester. I love your cabin. Always adding the little things. Much envy, NW ont.Canada
Maybe make some Nail Boards for your Main Door for the Bears not bang it down. When you leave just put few screws on it and the Nails be facing to the bear. Windows can use that also if they are big.
Just found you, fell in love with the cabin and the surroundings. Had to subscribe! You're amazing - very talented and creative. Can't wait for the next video. Peace. ❤🤍💙
The happiest time of my life were 2 summers I spent on my cousins horse farm In WV I was 12 n 13 wish id stayed I met hermits, drank from springs water so good it made u hard. Sawn visited hermits n their cabins, rode horses skidded logs down to the log truck. 5 miles from the nearest dirt road. I was n my glory.
LOVE YOUR snow - we live in S.W.PA tad north of Pittsburgh we dont get SNOW - I think we had 1 snow fall that was about 2 or 3 inches - SOMETHING happened
Love this cabin. Do you visit the other cabin where you keep the bees. Looked up Capercaillie as never heard of it. Really interesting. Learn something new everyday. Cheers Lynne Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨🙏🏻💙👋🏻
Très bien 👍, petite fenêtre avec volets intérieurs porte avec crochet intérieur, mais pourquoi pas une serrure ? Très belle cabane . Manque juste un petit Sauna à l'extérieur tout prêt de la porte d'entrée .
A friend and I were out snowmobiling and got caught ina whiteout and had to find a place to hold up we came across a old barn foundation that was about four feet deep and open at one end there was a lot of logs and old lumber and some tin roofing so we pulled in there and between our four rubberised military poncho's and the other stuff around aet built a good shelter and the only thing we had trouble with wes a place to make a fire to stay warm but we did manage to get a fire going and staying warm and heat up what food we had which we fashioned we I there for two days and took owre ed's out dug out my truckand trailer and drove home
@@alonewithwildlifeyes the wind was the biggest problem it blew about 25-30 MPH the temperature got down to about 8% that foundation was a life saver when we got out we stopped at the first diner and ate two breakfast and four cups of coffee before heading home and I ate two big ham sammwhichs
Is that a "safety cabin"? Where backwoods skiers, snowshoe people can seek shelter if unexpectedly caught in a bad storm, or just need a rest? Perhaps he is the "care taker"? Making certain firewood, cooking source/heat source is available. If "yes", of course he would have battery power lighting, snowmobile, chainsaws available. He has to move them from one safety cabin to another.
Celui-là, il est incroyable ! Quand je pense que Bruno Le Maire voulait mettre à genoux l’économie russe, il suffit de voir ce bricoleur de la nature pour comprendre que c’était pas gagné ! 😅
What worries me is not being alone(too much)its what wild animals like wolves, badgers, big bears are roaming. These things are dangerous! Me, myself, I'd have all kinds of guns & knives. I scare too easily!!
Has anybody ever thought that there is a cameraman with heavy equipment filming this? I would not be surprised if about 1/4-1/2 mile away there is an RV in a parking lot with a generator to keep that poor guy warm, dry, with a toilet.
I always thought it was just the one person doing all the camera work. You know, getting off the snow mobile and setting the camera up to shoot him riding along the trail and the like.
Nah dude the guy on the snowmobile is the camera man. He sets up a camera, gets a shot, and then goes all the way back to retrieve his own camera again. The effort involved to give us good content is outstanding.
