My son is a scientist, recently I've been having problems with developing sores on my tongue. So he told me to start taking three to five crystals of sea salt into my mouth and see what happens. There are several channels that use her name to reel us in...they share clips of her work..he's alright but he is not Barbara! LOL She really is wonderful, I like Barbara's work, she's an awesome Dr, this gives me the initiative to investigate if she has a u tube or not. People lift clips of old videos from people long passed..but living on here in virtual reality and that is kind of cool actually 😉 Hope she is still teaching, hope we live healthy to enjoy life awhile yet, 70 my next birthday!
My mom taught me to take small amount of salt then drink water when I was in high school before jogging in the morning. she gave me the same rationale this great doctor is talking about. I’m 59 now and still doing it, thanks mom ( in heaven).

Don't fully agree, in areas her knowledge is limited or one sided. Celtic salt harvested in certain areas has heavy metals, like your hunting fish, with the same problem. Heavy metals is very dangerous.

I started drinking water with celtic salt recently. I don't feel thirsty anymore...My body retains the water facilitating weight loss. I used to urinate a lot; now I'm urinating less. Celtic salt works.. I Have a better feeling of health generally.

My point is, this woman should not call herself a naturopath when she is NOT a Naturopathic doctor. She was investigated by health officials and she could NOT produce any evidence of attending or graduating from a medical college; she has NO medical degree; and she FAILED to complete nurse training. It is illegal and unethical for her to claim to be, or for her sponsors claim, that she is doctor. Got that? Otherwise, she can do her thing, though she has been sued in the past by patients.

Took me years to figure out that salt or sugar is not the enemy! Only as I have aged does it become a subject, re diabetes & high blood pressure etc. I learned that table salt has had all the minerals processed out of it. When I had my piercings done many years ago, the guy told me to use coarse sea salt with water to clean my piercings. Table salt tends to burn the actual wound. Amazing. Growing up we were very poor and when we ran out if toothpaste (we were 6 kids) Mom always told us to brush with salt...wasnt minty fresh but it was clean. To this day I get asked why I keep a pot of salt in the bathroom. First sign of bleeding gums, SALT! I bathe in salted water all the time. A friend had her front bottom teeth removed and her gums were so inflamed she could barely speak. I told her to toss her expensive mouthwash and to try rinsing with salt water. Boom! No more inflammation....well well well...

I once worked for an elderly couple, in their 70s who ran an awuarium centre 7 days a week and would still go ride theur bicycles around after work. When I asked how they did it at their age, they said: NO PLASTIC water botttles, and only purified water. NOTHING ELSR! They swear that getting the purifier was ALL THEY DID to change their diet, and thats why they have so much energy. Amazing!
Same here. I'm 55 & still ride my skateboard, whereas most ppl 40+ are waddling. NEVER drank water bottles, except for the times when I was deployed to the Middle East in the 90's. Plain old tap water, which goes thru a Brita water filter.
I'm still down on "purified/filtered" water-- stripped clean of all natural minerals ?? We are lucky here in my area to have access to several natural water sources and that is all we consume. And regarding plastic water containers for short-term storage, these are usually made of very stable materials and as long as they are kept out of the sun and heat, it is unlikely that any significant leaching will occur.

My blood pressure was averaging 205 / 110. I was not getting enough water but now I start with a tiny bit of pinch of salt every time I drink water and I drink at least a half gallon a day after 4 days of that my blood pressure is now down to 147 over 82

All I drink is water but u are absolutely right Barbara!! If I drink too much at once or during the day, It runs right through me. Everyone used to tell me (when i first cut out all other beverages and switched to just water) that my body wld adjust eventually and I wld stop running to the bathroom but it never did so I will definitely try the salt crystal tip before each glass to see if that helps. Dear Barbara O’Neill, Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I want you to know that my taste buds are damaged from years of brushing my tongue with an electric toothbrush, not from the salt. I have always had low blood pressure and my doctor told me to add more salt to my cooking and eat salty licorice. My adult children told me that my cooking is delicious except that there is no salt in it. I always add a little salt to my cooking but to my adult children the taste is not salty. I told them that once the food is cooked and it is salty you can not eat it and there is no solution that can be applied but once the food is cooked and not salty enough to eat you can add salt to the food to your own taste. It seems like a few grains with each bottle of water at least 2.5 quarts depending on how big you are,, half the body weight in ounces but not sure about metric but I am slowly introducing the salt to see if it gets too high

I like what I’m hearing. I feel very educated how & what to look out for when we buy fruits, vegetables & food period. So stay away from the GMO stuff. Ive always had high BP in June this year I had a mild heart attack ( high cholesterol high BP ) left with angina now. I have bought celtic salt to see if it helps although I'm on BP meds . Thank you Barbara so much x
!!! Please be aware that Barbara says 1 grain of salt size of sesame seed with each drink for high BP. That is well under 1 tsp a day recommended by someone in these comments. She takes 3 grains herself. And you do not drink too much at one go. 2 littres need to be spread through the day.
Amazing! I have had mild osteoarthritis symptoms for years. I also had allergy symptoms that began this Fall. I am a nurse and I never drink enough water. I made a point to begin drinking water everyday. My goal is 6 12 ounce bottles per day. I saw a significant improvement in my joint pain and stiffness and I stopped needing to take Ibuprofen as often. I will increase my water intake to 8 12 ounce bottles and I already use Celtic Salt for cooking but I will begin having a couple crystals before each bottle of water as well. I would recommend switching to Celtic sea salt. It can be way cleaner since some Himalayan salt can be a little contaminated sometimes. Safer alternative better conscious. 😉
