I know light SPD is the safest one to go for, but you really gotta go for the other versions if you're basically within kissing range. Medium and EX specifically.

FYI if your opponent Drive Impacts a lot, stop using 5MP. The multi-chop is too slow to break the armour, and it doesn't special cancel so you can't counter-DI out of it.
