Great episode, for Will's awesome action scene, showing Rosti's abilities in the process, and the introduction of most of the Magia Vander. The introduction of Iris is fun as well. I don't know how far we'll get this season, but the Magia Vander's relationships to each other will be useful to note going forward. Top notch reaction as always.

12:45 Where I watched this, on Iris's card it said that she has a dislike of a certain dwarf. I am not sure why in this one they hidden that fact. 20:58 You are correct. The empty seat is for the earth mage but, as Rose had pointed out, there isn't one at the moment. Iris only recommended that Will be allowed to enter the tower, not become a Magia Vander. Remember Prof. Wagner explained how the tower is split into several levels. If Will gets in, he still needs to work his way up the tower. Just like Iris, she has been accepted into the tower, or else she would not be able to work for them as the Watcher. Which also means that Iris is no helpless girl, she must be a highly skilled mage to be recognized by the Magia Vander. Just a fun fact. Someone pointed out that the Wind Magia Vander, her name, is related to a character from Danmachi.

I think the middle chair is their strongest one, who is absent. Kinda like Blast who's always absent😂 well just a fun theory not sure about it. PS: not a manga reader

That's already an unbeatable feat! 2/ Most respectable leader (and the absolute CHAD): The Lord of Lightning, Thunder Magia Vender: Zeo Thorze-us Reinbolt (Yes, you don't spell his middle name as Thor-Zeus, but it's was Thor-ze-us) *There's no certain that he or Elfie is stronger!! Most comparison put them on the same power-level, meaning that this guy is incredibly powerful since if he equal to Eflie with her full power-scheme, that's mean Elfie with EVERY SINGLE OP SPELLS are barely enough to rival him!! 3/ Most lazy yet most effective (created 12 new powerful spells within under 10 years): The Icemaiden's Wand, Frost Magia Vender: Elfaria Alvis Serfort *Funfact about Elfie: because her body temperature is low due to her magic's nature, she hate wearing clothes because they prevent her from absorbing heat from the environment, and make her feel uncomfortable!! So her elegant clothing were a mere "optional" cover to protect her body from pervert eyes. When alone (and of course with her husband - Will) she do not prefer wearing any clothes!! Also, you thinking straight up the point: SHE DID NOT WEARING ANY PANTIES. Like... NEVER!! Not a big deal for her anyway since there's literally NO ONE who have pervert intention for her can ever dream to touch or look through the gap without dying a painful death by the hand of The Iceborn Princess!! 4/ Most dedicated and hard-working: The Inferno Archduke, Flame Magia Vender: Cariot Incindia Wiseman *This guy is a mysterious man, there's no clear information about him yet. And he haven't show off his power yet. Although we do know one thing that in term of power it will take at least 2 or 3 Cariot to equal with one Elfie!! All what we know by far is he was a "Workaholic", and the fact that this guy is malignant af!! 5/ Most arrogant and mean, yet the weakest (she lost to Elfie while unable to force our waifu to even consider her as a threat, not to mention an worthy opponent): Queen of the unending Typhoon, Wind Magia Vender: Ellenor Ljos Alf *Still, I didn't want you guys to actually look down on her! Although being the weakest and the most toxic Magia Vender, she can still crush any Dungeon bosses on the floors of 30-40 with ease (these floor's bosses are strong enough to kick 3 Edward-sensei asses at once)!! And her arrogant and attitude actually is because of her education. In the nature, she was an precious and kind girl!! So, if there's any thing i wanna declared for her sake, that would be "Protec Ellenor!!"

What is interesting about this story is that everything can be drawn back to the author´s previous work (Danmachi). Names and lastnames for characters are used again i.e. Gareth is a dwarf like the one from Loki familia, the elf with Ljos Alf is the lastname of the main elven wizard like the 2nd in command from Loki familia, and as the story goes on more and more concepts are brought back into this world (including limit off which is the ultimate power up ability in Danmachi Light Novel). The same city around a tower concept is used. The same "fateful day" and dungeon concepts are used. The same magic visual representation. Instead of gods we have Magia Vander and instead of explorers we have wizards. I just wish Danmachi would have had such a good animation studio instead of the trash heap it got.

You missed small detail ;) go back and look at character sheet of Iris, but the actual graphic, not the translation pn the side.

Fun fact: According to the author, 100 Wills from chapter 1 wouldn't stand a chance against Elfaria even if they fought her at once.

That wasn't a mistake on Crunchyroll's part, i don't believe. Even without the word ''fight'' or ''defeated'' or ''killed'' those types of monsters plenty of times, we know Will spends alot of time in the Dungeon fighting, so the word was unnecessary cus we already know he's him
