This is without a doubt my personal favorite show. People really don't like the last few seasons, but I still love this show. Maybe not so much as the science aspect, but the friendship between all of the characters. But I highly recommend watching the rest of the show. You will not be disappointed.

This show is an anthem for anyone who has ever felt awkward or out of place. The personal development of the characters over the course of the series gives hope to anyone, and shows in a fun way how important it is to have friends who accept you as you are.

One thing I do appreciate about this show is that it’s not necessary to understand the sciency talk to enjoy it

Having watched all twelve seasons multiple times, and wanting to punch Sheldon multiple times, this show is hilarious

In Young Sheldon, which is about Sheldon as a little kid, his mother is played by the daughter of the actress who plays his mother in this show.

I saw this when it first aired and I thought Sheldon and Penny were adorably awkward together. My favorite has to be the Dungeons and Dragons episode later on. They change up their dungeon master and it's hysterical. They also have a lot of celebrities cameo their iconic characters though out the seasons.

Maybe the only series (sitcom) that I satisfied with the ending. For 12 seasons it has it ups and downs but in general it’s a great show. The science aspect are really genius.

Man, the early seasons of this show were pure comedy gold. After that it just turns into a boring love drama. Nevertheless, this show still makes me laugh.

Yayyyy, you’re gonna love this series. The first season or two are a little slow as it’s just getting on its feet but the rest of the show is great and I should know as I’ve replayed all 12 seasons like 20 times 😁😂

YES! Please continue. I love this show. I actually binged watched all twelve seasons when I first got sick with Covid. I was stuck to my room to recover and I decided to watch the whole show. I had purchased the whole show but had only seen the first 5 seasons. When I had nothing but time when recovering from Covid I watched all twelve seasons and man it made recovery enjoyable. lol

I love that you start the reaction talking about how bingeable the show is, then you plan to watch two episodes, but end up watching four 😂 Sitcom reactions aren't usually my thing because I tend to find the reactor's laugh annoying after a while (because we're only seeing highlights, so it's just laugh after laugh after laugh, you know?). Either that, or they hardly react at all, which is no fun to watch. You've done an excellent job balancing the enthusiasm of your reactions with the watchability of the final video. The more you watch the more you’ll love the characters, after give young sheldon ago it’s really fills in gaps in his life story. I love you find yourself laughing and learning at the same time, the shows are actually fact checked by scientists too

One interesting fact is that the show actually had a science advisor who made sure that what they were talking about and the calculations you saw on the board as accurate as possible

Just keeps getting better. I worked at a physic laboratory for 15 years, these are just like the engineers and scientists that worked there.

As an autistic person I’m love the way they presented Sheldon. Sometimes for getting to say please and thank you, can’t always control what he says or how he says it and freaking out or feeling nervous about change (e.g someone sitting in his place). ☺️☺️ Also I’m a blonde gay tooooo!!

Never thought you would watch this but ya it’s great

I love Big Bang Theory. I used to get upset that it came on CBS at the exact same day and time as Community did on NBC because I love both shows. I own both shows entire seasons on DVD because I like them so much. I think you’re going to really enjoy this show! I certainly enjoyed watching your reaction to it. And I’d say if you ever get the chance to eat at Cheesecake Factory you should. The menu is quite large with lots of variety of foods, but the best thing is definitely the cheesecake. Although you don’t technically have to eat a full meal there to get the cheesecake. I live an hour from a city that has one and so if I’m with others who prefer fast, quick, and inexpensive meals then I usually at least stop by and go their bakery counter and purchase a cheesecake (either a slice or an entire cake) before heading out of that city to home. As for not watching Star Trek, if you have people in your life who do watch it then you’ll get most of the references the show makes. I haven’t seen a lot of the newer superhero movies and I barely read comic books as a kid (mostly because the two bookstores in town that existed didn’t regularly carry them), yet because I have friends and family members who do keep up with all that and I have sat snd listened to them talk about them at length I still at least understood the references and jokes that were made. Although the writing is usually good enough so that even stuff one might not know is setup well enough for people who aren’t into it to at leaders get the contextual concept being expressed by the characters. I have friends who’ve never watched Star Trek or haven’t watched lots of Star Wars, yet they understood the premise of what the characters were discussing. Same with Community, there are references in it that even if it’s from something one doesn’t partake in or know, one still gets the premise. The only thing I would say that I found a bit annoying that derived from the show is some friends of mine who like to assign people characters from tv shows decided that I was Sheldon. It was only annoying because people who had only watch bits and pieces of the show would then make my friends explain why they assigned me as Sheldon since those folks wouldn’t understand the context to which there are things we both like and talk about (which you’ll see in later episodes so I won’t bring those up now). Thanks for such a long reaction! 4 episodes in one! That’s awesome! Oh btw: if you do want to get into watching Star Trek there’s lots of different series and films you could watch. Some make references to each other, but I have friends who have watched them without watching the previous stuff and done just fine. To be fair I had watched some of the original series with my dad and the animated series when it aired on Nickelodeon. But I hadn’t really gotten into it until I caught an episode of The Next Generation without realizing it was Star Trek until the opening credits played. It had a starter part where there are characters in a 1920s US setting and we’re introduced to what appears to be a private investigator. As I like mysteries I got caught up watching only for the opening to switch to a future setting aboard a starship and then the opening credits begin. I ended up watching the entire episode and the local channel that it aired on was doing a marathon that day so I ended up watching the rest of the episodes they aired that day which in between they’d mention when the newest episode was set to air. From that moment on I became a fan of Star Trek. My niece recently watched the newest animated Star Trek series: Lower Decks; Prodigy. She liked them and is now interested in starting the other series sometime. I had originally thought that people couldn’t enjoy those shows if they hadn’t seen previous stuff, but no my niece enjoyed them. Sure there’s subtle jokes she misses, but none of those jokes are upfront or important to understanding the characters and the plot. So if you want some shorter Star Trek shows and enjoy animated shows then I recommend starting there. My favorite of the two is Lower Decks because it’s very Star Trek while also being light hearted with lots of laughs that poke fun at tropes in Star Trek at the same time. Great video!

big bang is a great show i recommend sticking with it they will add more people to the show over time it will evolve over time so it wont be 12 seasons of this

This is my comfort show. When I'm cleaning, or doing chores - I have this show on in the background. When I don't feel well, and I'm resting on the couch - I have this show on. It's so funny. I love saying the lines with the show. Lol

sheldon's mom said it too Rash and Howard because Rash is Indian and they have a completly different religion. And because Howard is Jewish not a Christan.

31:23 "his rocker" if someone is off their rocker, it means that they've gone crazy. It's a southern expression and Sheldon's mom is from Texas, which is also where he grew up.

Sheldon was never outrightly stated or officially diagnosed as having any form of mental disability But this show was a godsend to many who have been diagnosed aspbergers or adhd, or higher functioning autism… The level of growth seen in the characters over the course of the series show that there was no sexism or creepiness from the characters, just misinterpretations of innocent yet flawed actions. Aside from That 70s Show, Awkward., The Big Bang Theory is one of my favorite comfort shows to date. I’m currently on season 6. This is my 3rd time rewatching the show. Never gets boring, keeps making me laugh like it’s my first time I’m watching. Plus it resonates with my personal life lol. ♥️

It's a favourite sitcom of mine. Yes, there are changes as the seasons go, but I see them as positive - the characters and their relationships evolve, and the Gang Of Five expands to include other members. Although it remains a source of great astonishment that Sheldon is not dragged into a dark alley and beaten to death with steel pipes by his friends within the first couple of seasons. :)

I don’t know where this came from but before I watched The Big Bang Theory, all I knew about it was the names of the characters and that Sheldon was over the top nerdy, neurotic one. I didn’t even know what “Bazinga” was. For some reason, I had it in my head that Sheldon’s catchphrase was going to be this nerdy grunt that he makes whenever he got annoyed or excited. And it would sound like this: “Gahhhloooouuu!”

Oh my God, my sides hurt from laughter 🤣 Thanks for this, Cody. This is a great distraction from all the tension going on around the world.
