It's pure hilarity/agony seeing Arin struggle with Retroarch. The reason that slow down happened was because there's an asset in the game that isn't fully supported in the version of pcsx2 he's using. No amount of tinkering is going to fix that. Never change big cat. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

this is definitely made by the same people who made who made that barbie as the island princess from 8 years ago. that archery game is basically the same as in the barbie one, and the score font and UI layout is identical besides the theming on most of the games.

There was a metal guardrail in the parking lot at my school when was a kid. It would make the star wars laser sound if you hit it on the edge. Every day after school in 5th grade there would be 27 kids whacking the shit out of it with anything they could find. The sound was awesome and I'd do anything to go back there to whack that guardrail one more time.

The Bob, Weave, and Sawtooth methods will do this in PCSX2's output because PCSX2 doesnt handle the generated "blank rows" very well. Look up what interlacing and de-interlacing does. Luckily, we wont see the wiggle. If you cant tolerate the issue, then try Smooth/Blend or None/Interlaced.

Not a fun comment, but comment "engagement" helps the algorithm 'n all that. The game's clearly busted running through whatever PS2 emulator they're using. It probably has its fair share of bugs, being of a shovelware nature, but it had to at least work to get by Sony's certification and release. Not sure why I'm much more amused with breaking issues on actual hardware (plenty of examples of NES games on the channel. Mappyland, Ninja Gaiden, Megaman, etc) but much less so with emulator faults (this, Sonic Shuffle, Mario Party 2, etc). That's more of a "me" thing though, not a criticism of the show.

There are SO many Shrek games out there. And almost all of them are just like, "Children aren't gonna want this game, and neither are the older fans of the movies, so really who is this made for?" This game is one of those cases.

As someone who has played like hundreds of games and seen thousands, this is the most half-baked "I don't care anymore, just send it out" game I have ever seen. This is hilariously empty of any soul even compared to other Shrek games.
