Moving target is extremely good on this sidearm since sidearm strafe bonus + lightweight mobility bonus + moving target strafe bonus gives a lot of strafe speed
I LOVE this sidearm. Mercules wasn’t lying about this thing. I literally wasn’t having any issues gunning down PK titans at 100 res because of precision instrument. Think of it as target lock for this sidearm, so good
For Season of the Wish Heliocentric has another advantage over drang. Heliocentric requires 4C to proc Radiant with Flint Striker, Drang needs 5C because of it's large magazine size. Flint Strike procs at (Mag size/4) + 1, rounded down. As a general rule (update: snipers with 3 in mag = 1C), bow and an osmosis Pure Poetry = 2C. 120, 140 HC = 3C, 180 HC, rapid-fire sidearms, and heliocentric = 4C, Drang = 5C (needs multiple targets since it kills at 4c). Aggressive SMG = 7c, Adaptive SMG = 9c, Lightweight SMG = 10C. Everything else requires multikills in the window between crits.
I've got both an Enlightened Action/Kill Clip and Moving Target/Precision Instrument version that I've been using. I prefer the Moving Target roll by a fair amount, and found an interesting edge case use for Precision Instrument in well-vs-well battles. I could burst other players down without team shots or special ammo. Presumably it'd be even easier to do in a well-vs-bubble battle.
@@love3kl1 Can't even list the amount of things on my fingers that are wrong with pvp that give me more than enough reason to grind out the better game, which is the finals, or any other game for that matter.
Have a HealClip/KillClipp roll. Not the best, but still was really good on my Warlock. Drang's sounds will scare off pursuits, but they run right into this.
See, I have mixed feelings on this thing. I hate that sidearm model and how it blocks the reticle. Screws up my aim bad. But I love lightweight sidearms... and most of them are, well, there's a reason people really didn't talk about them at all, especially with how few options there are.
Hear me out, redback max range with KW up hits 18.14m, damage perks aren't as good as helio for sure, but 18m is pretty far compared to the. 16.18 on Helio, nadir can kick you up to around 17 but only lasts for 2 seconds, so I'm not sure how truly amazing that is vs kw
Precision instrument I still like because it lets me extend my damage range a bit to fight fall off. I also run helio as a back up weapon more so KC is harder for me to have up consistently.
I like mine with heal clip and kill clip on my titan with that titan helmet with resto for kill matching subclass. It saved us so many time in trials and puts in work.
all helios ive got are world drop, 3 are grolls and a demo adjunkie is still left to test, idk whats the build imma use on it, maybe void as it has devour maybe solar so firesprites, the arc sticky is also nice for most ranges and guaranteed kill if stuck, idk if strand grapple melee still counts for nade kills and stasis def not
I got literally the same role last season except for a reload MW. It’s great - if the connection on console allows shots to register. Don’t know what happened, but I feel as if IB was worse then usual with the connections. It is a fun gun though. I feel you remarks on the ADS though - gotta try it with free hand grip!
I played around with all the pentacle weapons this IB. I also grabbed anonymous autumn and yeah. I just got my first helio drop can't wait to play with it.
I have arrowhead and chambered comp on mine and prefer chambered for stability and handling is still high enough. Still gets to 100 recoil direction too.
How do you deal with recoil blocking your site. I love the gun model, but I just have a horrible time staying on target with how much it blocks my view. Maybe that is less of a problem on controller? I find sidearms pretty frustrating on k+m.
Why roast using 5 sens? I run 4 sens since Trials was introduced in D1 and never felt I needed more to be successful lol it's a preference thing, build to build.
70% chance drop my left nut. It's like a 1 in 10 chance to get the damn thing to drop to begin with and when it does drop it it always has enlightened action precision instrument. Even on master lost sectors the chances of getting a decent roll are low. I did 24 golf balls worth of lost sectors to get the roll I wanted (heal clip incandescent) only to find out its worse than demolitionist. You can't always proc heal clip when you need it and if you get hung up on a tougher enemy then you're shit out of luck. With demolitionist you have damn near constant uptime this season due to incandescent and all the ignition explosions and you can drop a nade when you need it most.
It's the Biolume shader. The colors in the icon are black, dark gray, light blue and green. Should be right next to the Butterbark shader if you have that one.
I got my god roll Helios on the first drop, it’s Heal Clip/Kill Clip. It’s excellent in PvE and it increases my survivability in PvP with the constant burning, poison and children constantly eating away at my health. BUT I’ve been grinding master lost sectors for that Heal Clip/Kill Clip/Incandescent roll you got so lucky to have drop. No luck yet.
It's on a three-day rotation. You can see whether it's up today on the lost sector section of TodayInDestiny. It was up yesterday, so the next time it'll be available to farm should be after reset this Wednesday.
That snipe intro happened to me in iron banner. I looked at my footage and I was so far off the opponent's head, i said that ain't right... I'm on controller soooo yea....I got a few of these sidearms but only use one but can't remember the perks 🤷
Nothing to do with controller XD, it more of a server delay they mnk and happens all the time. Just brain dead people complaining because they think it a mnk thing but it a ping/server issue
i got pretty much the exact roll you have w/ precision instrument as a world drop last season and as good as it was when i hit stuff it was just impossible to hit moving targets with the gun in the way on mnk for me (i am also notably worse than you at pvp) and i do not have nearly the skill required to even play the game on controller, but the gun itself is really nice
Sidearm's in general are still a very under appreciated weapon family, I don't know what after last years festival of the lost that made people stop using them
