All I'm saying is that if you're 5-stacking in comp and you're not progressing, they most definitely deserve the rank they're stuck in

I think their issue actually lies in their communication and confidence. They are a 5-stack and should have a slight advantage as you don’t have to worry about randoms throwing or being idiots. However, they peek as though they have really good aim to benefit off the better communication. They unfortunately don’t and it shows. 22:00 is a pretty telling example. After the raze gets the kill on kayo, nobody attempts to trade. They are all still stuck looking towards CT. Look at Phoenix particularly and even viper. They might all deserve gold especially after more time playing together but for now, silver/gold is pretty much their rank. I also think the diamonds put on a pretty accurate example of enemies being cocky in both play style and comp. Not uncommon behavior in ranked.

For a 5 stack team to play like this, I think they deserve bronze 🤣

I'm a viper main and for a viper, that was waaaaayyyy too aggressive! Haven is actually an okay map for viper and its pretty nice to lurk.

The problem for team exotic is that they are really uncoordinated. Even as a 5 stack they don't plan anything out. If I were in their team, I would take advantage of being a 5 stack and just really plan the rounds out. For example, are we doing a default? Are we doing a full push? The diamond players on the other hand were very coordinated. For example, fade and raze combo their util, team does a full push on B after their raze satchel jumps. Their aim and just general ability to peek and frag is average for a silver but their game sense is very iron level. They don't even know how to NOT peek an angle with 5 enemies. Rarely I see them wait out util first. They literally peek A without any util or team support.

Tbh the silvers didn’t even look that much worse than alot of the people in my lobbies. A full team of that tho is too much lol

i also believed that i was hardstuck silver and even my enemies thought that i was smurfing so in the past months i started to play more and more and in 2 months i got from silver 2 to diamond 1 :)

I feel like this team's biggest problem was that they would slow down, but in a 5 stack in A lobby or B main. Playing it slowly to gain info is great, but they gave the diamonds way too much space and when it came down to it, the Diamonds would crunch them. If you are going to play slow, you need to contest neutral ground or get a strong lurk.

Their issue is a general silver issue The duelist is not peeking I (silver controller main) am usually the first one to peek coz ik my smokes only last for a certain amount of time, but my teammates will go in later, then complain about not smoking site And I can't play duelist coz the team already instalocked 3 duelists and a sage for some reason, hence I just have to play controller

The knife Masterz was using was one of my favorite knives in the game, so underrated and clean tbh

as a hard stuck last season on gold I'm almost immo now learn confidence and feel the agent ur using

Honestly, especially on haven, the team comp sucked and the only good picks on that map were breach and kayo, however when there is no dive duelist to take advantage of the breach util, the breach pick becomes useless (So they should pick either Jett, neon or raze, if they want to continue with breach pick on haven).They should also scrap the viper picks on both maps and switch to the likes of omen or astra. If they do decide to keep the viper then they should switch out sage as viper acts as the sentinel controller hybrid, locking down site with her wall and mollies. You should 100% be picking chamber everytime on haven because of the number of off angles. On ascent they should pick killjoy or chamber.

As a diamond 3 who smurfs in silver-gold lobbies every once in a while, most would stand a chance, theres a big rank difference for a reason. “We get smurfed on so we cant rank up” my brother in christ where did you think the smurf came from

I made an alt just to show my friend the difference between diamond and silver just to give him a reality check that he aint as good as he thinks. If you’re hardstuck gold or silver. You deserve to be there. If you deserve a higher rank you should be team mvp so major points win minor points loss. Which means inevitable movement up the ranks. Aka ya shit

the premade was doing good as their rank, but as a premade they forgot something so important like the coms, as some people have said, in the haven match, viper followed sage to get the heal, they can say "heal sage" and he should heal, or just paying attention to the hp of his teamates, i do this whit my friends, but i am bronze, and if i do this, a gold/silver player should know it, they did good job at picking, not baiting sometimes, and pick 2 or 3 at the same time, thats something good, but i think as the chat said, they miss an innitiator, you need one in every map, becouse they should give the information to do your next move, enter side or try kill one and then rotate or fake rotate

When you can't say that your teammates are holding you back so you have to say that smurfs are holding you back:

they need to work more on their comps , you can't always use viper on every map , in a certain maps yeah you will need to use here like icebox and breeze but also you will need one of sova, fade or kayo in all the maps

Most players that say they're hardstuck need to be humbled. Yeah you might have decent aim for your rank but every rank upwards is a new level of experience you have to learn and develop habits for. This is a very good example of what happens with lack of experience against players who understand the games macro, 5 stacking on attack in mid to high elo you better believe you'll have a flank or push up mid for info. Low elo players know push, fail, rotate, that's it. On top of that low elo players don't know what comms are or what good comms are or what good a good comm means to be honest. It's all just lack of experience, once you're punished enough you'll learn not to do certain things, and after learning what's a good habit you will continue to do that more frequently and thus have a more positive outcome overall. Even in Ascendant 3 too many players rotate early or not buddy up and get run over by someone with better crosshair placement. If you REALLY care about ranking up then you need to become very self aware of how you play, know what you're doing wrong and work to fix it, if you need to fix your aim then do that in the range and deathmatch, if youre utility timing is bad then try and use it more in time with your team, keep an eye on the map, just realize your mistakes, get punished enough, adapt. Something every player needs to understand is all of us that have made it to higher elo with the exception of players who were pros in other games. Have been through elo hell have been smurfed on and have had teamates just like theirs. Low elo players have this mindset that it’s not their fault they can’t climb.
