Have you tried this simple poker strategy? Also, here is how to bluff them every time (Just do this) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UF2AS6jPUIY.html
Could you show how you play some hands like JJ, QQ, KK UTG 3/4ways simple raise pot, Axx flop or no A flop, obviously no set flop? Or a 3bet pot AK, AQ, AJ, KQ flop 7 9 10 flush draw in position?
You don’t understand the microstakes. Totally different to normal poker. At the micros it’s half absolute and total fuckwits and half nits. You have to be very strategic and Nathan is right about this one.
Problem is most of us play with NON / kinda SEMI - pro at best and they don't understand all this high level stuff and u will hit this board with your Queen but there's always some guy playing pocket 3's and they will call u the whole way and most the time they lose.....but when they do hit that 3 on the River, you just made a huge bet ,they call and bang u lost ALOT. On top of that , 9 - 10 player poker tables could have someone with K, J, and flop a strait and u think that Queen is good....until they called u all the way down or even raised on the River and you were behind the whole time. Even 9,10 suited or non suited ALOT of these non pro's love that hand so bang they flopped 2 pair, u got a big Queen but nothing else.....and again u lost. I know this guy is a pro and all but in Reality you have to play your own way and figure it out on your own. Trying to play and learn someone else's strategy when there playing players at high level thinking compared to the majority of us who play with people who dont think AT ALL like this and who will chase a Ace all the way to River jus won't work. Now I watch these videos probably 10 of this guy's channel....haven't improved my game 🤷♂️. I improved my game by Trial and error, and practice that's the only way
With all respects to Nathan, I have seen him say exactly the opposite about giving someone a free draw on different videos. I know it's got a lot to do with position in who bet what when and all that good stuff but for my money I'm going to put in a turn bet a 50% of the pot just to fold out that straight draw.
EXACTLY. The CHECK/CALLL LINE until the river has also been commented on. This turn 3 and river 5 is an ideal scenario. but the tendency is for a scare card to appear on some street and in this case the check/call could be used with more basis. And what if you receive a raise on the flop? In this same scenario, should I call until the river?
This “trap” strategy may work in live games that provide true casino odds, but absolutely will not work in online games where algo-generated card generation odds favor those players who chase stupid draws to the River. In a live casino event, an opponent with KT non-suited would have a 14% chance of catching a K or J on the River. In online poker, the algos will skew the odds in favor of the opponent to more like 50% chance. It’s the reason online poker creates bad “maniac” live casino poker players. The pot odds are different, therefore your style of play has to take into consideration that online poker player rightfully EXPECTS that they will get paid off on the River, 2 -3 times as frequently as they would if they were playing in a casino.
While I appreciate a video like this, the odds of being dealt a pocket pair is 1/221. I have found that you have to mix it up during long sessions. You don't want to become too predictable. One of my most profitable hands has been 10 2 suited.
How often do you call his raise on the river is the real question. Or are you just taking the L and losing the massive chunk you placed into the pot. I know you never want to "keep them honest" it does open a hole in your game... We play 250 hands I only see 15 flops and I make this bluff with an instant min raise. Your advice is to fold the raise every time? I'm calling once in a while if it's not too substantial in total value. A bad beat is better than a good day at work ;p Loving all of your advice!!
Do you have any video guides on how to navigate multi-way pots. I find myself unsure at times when I should lead and when to check. Same goes for ending the action. Not sure when to try to take the pot down or to proceed more cautiously.
Nathan, I think the strategy seems fine, but I don't think it's called Stop and Go. The Stop and Go technique is mostly a tournament strategy when short stacked in the blinds. With a good hand short stacked if you face a bet one option is to go all in. Instead, you can use the stop and go technique and just call pre. Then you lead all in on the flop no matter what it is. The advantage of it is that you have more fold equity since they will miss the flop 66% of the time. Anyway, not trying to nit-pick, but that is the stop and go :-)
Raising 60% on river in this case seems perfect. If you have the nuts, you milk them for as much as possible without making them fold. Alternatively, if you don't have the nuts, some players may fold a winning hand.
Can you make a video explaining things you look for when labeling a player type?.. Thats 1 thing I seem to struggle with.. I just dont get enough info to label them before my table changes.. I mainly play MTTs
Hi Nathan. I just discovered your channel a few days ago, and i have been watching almost all your vids. I play poker in my spare time. So not in a way where i can make it my living. A few years ago i donked 22$ mini sunday millions for 25k. I havent won a tourney since. After watching your video and learning from them I have won 1 tourney, and came 2nd in 2 other tourneys. Damn it feels good. Thanks for all your tips buddy :)

All of your advice seems spot on to me , will say your going to get out of poker the effort you put into the game cause that's all it is a game , my wife plays solitaire online, i barely remember how to play it, she finishes games in seconds before i can even read the cards an gets first place in world wide tournaments all the time , nowadays most low stakes is 3/6 live in most cities playing oldlings in the afternoon an nuts weekends , so learn all the ins an outs of the cards , sit at first, read the table , an play for table odds the best you can so over the long run you won't lose . i have been card ded for a solid week an the odd time i got a high pair or a set or whatever even a fullhouse , have lost the hands, it happens , that's life today, may really suck but with effort tomorrow may not .
Ranges ranges ranges. I always play zoom so I don't pay any attention to who I am playing, what their history or range are. I wish we would get zoom advice. Lot of people playing it these days it is simply a superior form of hold'em. ..
