This is actually a common build in turbo. It's just that against how the team is so good at kiting and coordinating at high rank. Sladar is very vulnerable against spell.

I used to play slardar A LOT before i quit dota and i loved the perma bash build . However the biggest problem always with these kinda of builds is that is exp as shit and usually you cannot burst the enemy dead fast enough before backup comes. Personally i would have gone assault curs instead of 2nd moon shard . Or get deso for max armor shredding

The standard builds but to execute the build either you had to be fast like in turbo mode, or got decent teammates to makes this build work

Actually, u dont need moonshard for this. treads (5min) > madness (7~8min) > midas (12min) > blink (16~17min) > bkb (20~25min) > assault (30min). With this build, matching this timings, you become a beast cause u can permabash, initiate, be tank and have farm. Later on i like to sell midas and go for mage slayer and buy shard. Shard is better the earlier possible, but if u buy it before blink, bkb or assalt u delay these items power spike, so its better to go for the shard later on. Not that hard to hit these timings in archon/legend.

Way back I used to a complete Armour reduction build for slardar. Dessa, AC, with ulti. 1 shot any hero

i remember the patch before sladar has natural lifesteal from tree talent, so u can have 3 slot for moonshard 😂

I personally don't prefer this build, though its super broken. SHARD on slardar isn't just so you don't have to cast ult, it maximises crush dmg, as corrosive haze is applied before crush dmg, if you chose +150 crush dmg talent, you do insane dmg with shard, albeit earlier in the game. As byte5115 said, usually you can't burst fast enough with this build.

Instead of buying another Moonshard, why not go for Mjolnir & AC. You just need to add more gold, aside from attack speed, the damage from Static & the - armor is much better than another MS

Slightly meta build on slardar. I go butterfly for the evasion and aspd, good against right click heroes. One moon shard equipped and one consumed moon shard is enough for total aspd. Then go bkb. BoT. Then either dagger/mkb/deso for the remaining item slot to round off the item build

2 years ago before i quit dota i have a high win rate because of *Slardar* and *Night Stalker* by using these items. *Top priority* Midas Solar Crest 2x Moon shard And the rest are minus -armor items like Deso, Cuirass Dude i'm telling you, *DK* is just a creep if i use corrosive haze 😂😂 If you're using *NS* Rush Phase Boots + orb of venom before the first night appear. If you got these 2 items, you can kill almost everyone on the map except tank heroes like Axe. 😂😂 Don't forget Midas after wards. 😂👍

Slardar is my fav hero in Dota the reason why is because he scales so well if you have a good game you can play carry. If your carry is doing a good job you can set up and initiate. Best hero in Dota in my opinion.

Was doing the speed build slardar back in dota 1, back then its AC, deso (orb effect, -armor stack with AC), daedalus (forgot the old name) cuz crit isn't orb effect, vlad (cuz the only non orb effect lifesteal, cuz orb effect don't stack), boots, bkb. And with that build i got the nickname "sawing machine / sawing needle" a.k.a "jarum jahit"
