this bed chair is 450-500 pounds, what the fek where avid thinking when they chose the price, "hey how much do you think we can charge for a bedchair" other avid rep, just knock em out for 500 quid and some carp mugs will pay it, - ok
First rule of Carp Club...we never talk about Carp Club to the wives or girlfriends how much our overpriced Tat costs. 😂 At that exact moment " He knew he F*#ked Up" !.😂
I’ve got the solar SP-C Tec wide sleep system. It’s not as expensive as this one (this is a copy of that bed) and it’s solar! Fully recommend. I have proper comfy nights even with the dog on it as well 😂
I hope everyone who buys Avid products realises that after 12 months they don't want to know any problems, I've got a £500 HD brolly system and it's leaking around 4 spoke areas, it's only been used about 15 times 3 of in rain and this is my email reply off them. Hi Darren, After the 12 month warranty period, there is nothing we can do. Very sorry. Kind Regards Dave Lloyd
i bought the avid benchmark back in november its the worst bed i ever bought i sent it back when you lie on it you back is above the leg and ever now and then if you throw yourself over you hit the metal leg and the bag itself was so uncomfortable and it didnt support my weight at all i thought it was me untill i got a few of my mates to try it out
I pre ordered mine in November I canny wait man 🤣.. thanks for all the heads up as always, I got the new direction bite alarms on your test and I'm not disappointed 🤟🤟
Hi mate , I know you have the mf60 ss3 or have tried it , which 1 is better all round for comfort and weight in your eyes this avid or the mf60 ss3 standard ?
I have the last gen with the heated mattress. It fits this too and is about £50 at the moment. Got to be worth a review! And please review the avid elevate rods, thanks
Your videos are really very good and genuinely honest and trustworthy. I do have one question though on a detail that you didn't ( or couldn't) mention. What is the temperature rating for the sleeping bag? I do overnighters and 3/4 day/night stints in minus temperatures down to -7/-8. when pike fishing in winter, would this cope considering it's 5 big note's price tag?
How does this compare to nash mf60 ss4 wideboy? Mine is getting one sagging like crazy and hinges starting to fail. Was just going to buy another nash but this looks good
ive got that exact bed chair, I had sagging but I realized it was the knots in the elastic slipping, tighten the elastic and double knot and you'll be good
I don't care how tough or hardy of a Carp angler you think you are, at twenty to thirty, you might get away with kipping close to the ground. The first rat attack or rat running over your face in the middle of the night will see you bin that. You can't use one in the winter. Everything catches up to you years if not months later. I am actually thinking of making my own design bed as none of the ones on the market solve any sleep problems most anglers suffer on the bank for a £5 -.600 quid price tag.
I have an inner capsule, no rat won’t come in. No mosquitos etc. It works way better in winter than any bedchair. No cold comes trough that mattress. Its rated to I think minus 10 degrees. This mat solves all my back issues, cause it lays as comfortable as any bed at home. I just turned 50 years old.
I thought Avid were a more budget brand. I think they are owned by Fox or one of the older brands. I'm not 100% sure. Anyway mustn't be budget anymore. 😂
Do your research if you don’t know it. Avid is not own by Fox or something. The company already exists for more than a decade. I’ve bought their first bivvy in the beginning of 2013
@@frans810324 Ooh! Look at you.Up on your high horse over nothing. I've done your research for you. 😂 I will post it separately in case they ban links. It's okay. Going by your tone I'd say an apology is beyond you.
