I can't tell you how much I LOVE this weapon, I never get tired of shooting It. Have a really nice day to anyone that happens to scroll by. Also, matchbook feels Insane with Ember of Eruption / Ember of Char and Ember of Ashes. a single Ignition will deleted everything Including champions because your Ignitions will now spread constantly and you trigger them faster with Ashes.

Not even 30 minutes ago, I was trying to think of a Solar Tommy's build. And lo and behold, the universe answered.

You are my favorite destiny youtuber in terms of builds. You explain everything very well and the on screen aspects etc are very helpful. Keep it going👍

I've been using Tommys for the last few seasons since they made it scorch. I use it on my Well build with Ember of Combustion. I get double the kills of other Well users with Sunshot. Also chews through bosses and Yellow bars

Try strand warlock with graviton. You nuke everything. Spawn kills everything in ounslaught. Graviton with correct aspects, fragments , void and strand siphon , and artifact mod can make tangles with the swarmers, the explosion from graviton nukes the tangles and spawns army of threadlings that loop with cosmology. Then use strand gl from trials with chain envious for area burst. Or the strand rocket launcher (season only ) with a team mate that has galley to burst areas with strand.

This build would also work nicely with my heal clip/incandescent/onslaught adept Summoner paired with Xeno. Thanks Plunder! Duddits 2 just did a walking turret voidlock build with Sacant Filaments/Touch of Malice. Might be a fun one to try out as well.

Oh hey, I was running almost this same build like a week ago. One thing I think you might have overlooked is that you may want to use Ember of Ashes over Ember of Benevolence since Tommy's Matchbook (and Sunspots) will apply more scorch, triggering ignitions faster.

Hey, if youre thinking about making yis build, just know that the scorch effect you get from this gun is only available AFTER you get thr catalyst. Getting the catalyst isnt too hard, but it does take a couple if hours of grinding with auto rifles and the tommys matchbook. I reccomend going to the boind well for kills

A month late but I’ve been trying this build and in PvE it is absolutely insane. In the “Ghosts of The Deep” Dungeon I used this build and, while fighting Ecthar, I stood around the acolyte/Knight/Ogre spawn point and took all the mob aggression and I swear I COULD NOT DIE!! Great build bro 😎

I run strand titan with stronghold and dragoncult sickle. And I can say that this thing is nuts. I haven't played the game for the past 4 months and I was very surprised to see this sword not only being not useless, but eviscerate everything on my path in melee and range both.

Hands down the best build so far. I’ve been playing only hunter Orpheus and this was so much fun. Plunder your builds rocks. Time and time again you always deliver. Thank you!🙏

Actium war rig is good on every subclass with titan. Strand titan with Old sterling + hatchling with Marcatto +triple tap + onslaught is amazing .

I'm using this but instead of actium it's scars, where the constant team cures really keeps benevolence up.

I expected tommy's matchbook with precious scars so you could really push the buff it gives for continuously shooting. Will try this.

I been using this build for awhile now but I pair Tommy's with Precious Scars for the constant healing and I switch the fragments around for more scorching and ignitions

As great as Actium War Rig is, I feel like Precious Scars would be better overall especially with the self damage and Benevolence. Either way though this should be tons of fun.

I’ve been running this exact setup but with precious scars. I know you’ve done a few precious scars builds already. Would you recommend this Actium build over precious scars? The healing may be overkill at times from scars.

How do you keep restoration up 100%? I copied the build but still cant keep my restoration up unless I get in my sunspots but you seem to get restoration by just shooting.

See I've been running a very similar loadout for legend onslaught. The precious scars build though. Same exotic and setup. Got the general setup from fallout. It wasn't what I needed in the end for my team but it really does help your team and packs a punch

@plunderthabooty you should make a build with jotuun it's extremely powerfull and had incandesant so just running special ammo finisher makes it op (maybe a consecration build or somethin)

YES I’ve been rocking this build and it absolutely smacks. While I do have a hard time staying a live sometimes with Tommy’s Matchbook, I like to bust out the Heir Apparent for the heavy duty operations >:)

I bet this works pretty good with Phoenix Cradle too, passing Sol Invictus to your buds with all those sunspots you're making, even though it means you'll have to actually reload your gun lol

If you can proc restore x2 with stronghold and then switch to something you prefer instead, you can run around with Tommy’s damn near invincible

Imagine pairing Tommy’s with Path of Burning Steps. That’s a 50% damage buff from PoTBS and Radiant combined.

Been using pyrogale's instead because I love the juiced consecration. I run with someone who always uses stasis so all the shards keep feeding me energy.

Because ARs are in the artifact and Onslaught has Champs - isn't Tommy's overcharged so no surge mods needed? Had a similar build for Warlock with Tommy's and Mantle of BH... But for Onslaught I would change it to Verity's.

Would AWR be broken if it gave the X4 weapon boost on elemental pick ups matching your sub class? Auto reload from reserves is cool but thats all it does. I feel there are exotics that do that and more.

Good build but there’s to much focus on the grenade. Considering sunspots give the same result and your fragment keeps the buff up, it doesn’t need as much built for it.

Is there any weapon instead of riptide in your loadout? I just get back to game and since I’m not super pvp player I need advice. And also is it hard to get apex predator?

Ive been using this build forever already kinda cool seeing you post it, its such a beautiful blend of primary weapon dps, ignition spam that doesnt require artifact mods, on top of taking advantage of radiant and restoration and then Tommy's catalyst actually helps out with its downside of self damage with superior health regen since it only damages the shield so it weirdly helps you stay alive longer as you shoot it, its very potent everywhere just be aware that in high difficulty modes like gms youll die very easily if youre not careful

Let’s show them what it means to be a Guardian." Kara, reviewing the holographic map with the team, pointed out their entry points and objectives. "We’ll split into three squads. Alpha will flank left using the Shield Weave formation; Bravo will penetrate the center with the Spearhead Rush; and Charlie, you’re on long-range support with the Overwatch Halo. Stick to the plan, and watch each other’s backs." As they approached the Cabal outpost, the sun crested the horizon, casting long shadows over the battlefield. The Cabal, unaware of the impending assault, continued their routines until the first signs of the Guardian's advance. The battle erupted into chaos as soon as Shin gave the signal. Alpha Squad, their shields interlocked in an almost impenetrable wall, advanced steadily, absorbing and deflecting the heavy fire from Cabal turrets. With the outpost secured and the Cabal forces in disarray, Shin rallied his team for a final sweep. The operation had been a resounding success, demonstrating the effectiveness of blending ancient strategies with modern tactics. The Guardians' morale soared as they realized the potential of their newfound knowledge, each victory a testament to their evolving capabilities. As they returned to the City, their spirits were high, their camaraderie strengthened by the shared triumph. Back at the command center, Zavala greeted them with a nod of approval. "Well done, Guardians. Today, you’ve not only secured a critical victory for the City but also proven that our past holds the key to our future." The successful siege was just the beginning. Shin and Kara knew that the real test was still to come, as they prepared to integrate these tactics on a larger scale. But for now, they celebrated their victory, confident in their path forward, the echoes of the past guiding them towards a hopeful future.
