Joe Delaney was the first football player I ever seen on TV, making me a life long Chiefs fan. Delaney was the closest thing to Walter Payton I have ever seen. A combination of smooth running style and power. It was such a tragedy, but I’m glad he has always been remembered as the Hero he was!

I live in Connecticut and have been a Chief's fan since 1968. A good friend of mine is related to Kevin Condon, a former Chief! He was able to obtain seats in Foxboro to watch the Chief's play the Patriots. We sat with the family members of the Chiefs. After the game, they brought us down by the locker room! We got to meet all the Chief players after the game. I got to meet Joe Delaney and we became good friends! He was an amazing person!! We were able to communicate several times after that game! He was the nicest person I have ever met! I was devastated when I received the news when he tried to save those boys! RIP Joe! Thank you for being a wonderful person!

I'm cool with Rice's suspension being next season, but I hate the ambiguity of it. If they spring it on the Chiefs midseason and Rice misses the back half, that's a pretty big disadvantage. They really need to tell the Chiefs, "If we haven't informed you by the end of camp, it will not be until next season."

Regarding car theft, one thing they do now is use range extenders to make cars with keyless entry and button start think the fob is much closer than it actually is. Makes it super simple to just get in and drive off. Either put your keys in a small Faraday cage (a small metal wire basket should work) and/or don't keep them by the front door. It at least removes one attack vector

I do not know what happened to Nazeeh, but I would guess a "relay attack". You can google it to get the details on how it works. Getting a kill switch and an RFID blocker to keep your keys in are the best defense for it.

I've been saying all along that any suspension for Rice most likely isn't going to come until after this season is complete. And yes, that would be the best possible outcome, imo, for the Chiefs AND for Rice. Rice gets a whole season to "breakout", the Chiefs get a first ever 3-peat, and it gives the Chiefs time to develop a Rice replacement for the inevitable suspension to come. Which will probably be the 4 game variety by the time this all plays out.

When hubby and I bought our house on west 3rd street we absolutely park our Jeep in the garage even if we are going right back out. Too much bad juju running around here in Lee's Summit! Do you have an opinion on the Pat Tillman award going to a British duke whose only contribution is to show up at Invictus events? My view is that being born into royalty does not make him American, or an athlete, or a person dedicated to service. Mary Tillman pointed out that this prince has all the entitled advantages in life and is a very disruptive figure. I was hoping that they would have a trial before the season started and that Rice would have to do a minimum sentence, maybe six months. That would give the Chiefs an opportunity to explore all of the new talent that they have and hopefully we would find that we don't even need him anymore. I am all for giving people second chances, but I have been very unimpressed with his lack of concern over his poor judgement. At the most, all he has said is, "everyone makes mistakes and I will have to learn from it". That does not sound like a whole lot of remorse to me. If he does not receive some sort of a sentence, just like you and I would, this kind of behavior by young athletes will continue. I wonder if Rice even knows who Joe Delaney is and why he is not even close to being the man that Joe was?

Rice’s suspension would be helpful if it came in ‘25, we can use him for efforts to get the three peat. What we do not want is for the league to suspend him for six weeks starting 1 December! That would be the worse case scenario.

Car Thieves are using repeaters to clone key signals required to unlock or start vehicles. Keeping your keys as far away in your home from the car itself may help reduce the likelihood that the signal will be in range. I hope Rashee can get through the legal issues and suspension sooner rather than later. Hope that he can move forward as a responsible and productive member of society.

The league could still place *Rashee Rice* on the commissioner's exempt list _...indefinitely._ It could happen anytime, including before the first game of the regular season. He could remain on the exempt list until the legal case is adjudicated. Functionally, it could be an indefinite suspension.

May be a hot take, but if I were Rashee and knew a suspension was coming, I'd want to get it out of the way. Idk if this is a thing, but it'd be cool if the Chiefs could just suspend him for the minimum amount of games it would be (best-case scenario) and when the NFL came down, he would only get "time served" (so to speak) + any additional games they suspended him for that were above that best-case scenario amount he's already sat out.
