I have to laugh at your wayfinding - this is exactly my husband and I! I am the navigator, and he is the nervous driver - we have trundled across some amazing trails🥰🥰
Fabulous..! To be fair, Google Maps hates me and tries to send us I the weirdest directions. If Darren puts the same info into it on his phone, she sends us a different way. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Darren does worry that one day though, we will trundle off the edge of a cliff. 🤣😂🤣 💜🤟
We visited Guadelest on our last visit before lockdowm. Despite the tourism we loved it and being October it wasn't too busy. Don't think we will go there this time in early July (just seven weeks 😊) as will be so busy. Another great video that showed the amazing scenery and colours at their best.
We've been a few times and always enjoy it, but agreed, it's much nicer to be able to visit when there are less people. 😬 Not long until your visit now then. We bet you'll be counting the days soon. 💜🤟
Thank you so much for your videos and suggestions. Guadalest is beautiful, what views! With one of us being a geologist there was plenty to see - the mountains and the castle structures. Did you see the fossilised brachiopods in the steps down from the cemetery? It was very quiet and we managed to walk straight in to Restaurante L'Hort twice, once on the way up once on the way down! Yummy. We’ve left Polop for another day and we’ll see about Oliva later on. Once again 🙏 and I hope those little fur babies are doing well. Jo 🌞🤟
So glad you enjoyed Guadalest and Noooooo.. ! I missed the fossils..! We'll have to go back again to see them..! 🤣😂🤣😂 Hope your food was a yummy as ours was at L'Hort. We went to the Duna Market this evening and it was already closed and all the food trucks were gone. For some reason they have closed a couple of day early. 🤷🏼♀️ We have ended up coming to a British restaurant/pub called The Black Flame in Pedreguer. Starters were good, looking forward to the rest. 😬 Furbabies are all good. I'll put an update post on Facebook when I get a chance. Mayhem has blown me away with her spirit. 😻🥰 Keep us updated on your other visits. Alison 💜🤟
Hello you cool people! A few years ago there was a zoo in front of Goadalest where you got lost. The zoo was for old circus animals or animals that had been in captivity in some way. They had e.g. bears in small cages, etc. Really quite terrible.
Gosh that's not good. 😔 We're glad it has closed. These animals need a sanctuary, as they are no longer able to survive in the wild, but not if they are still in small areas. Thank-you for sharing. 😘💜🤟
Hemos estado en las fuentes de l'Algar dos veces con amigos, pero no para el canal. Podemos volver a finales de este año. Normalmente tratamos de encontrar lugares para nadar con menos tráfico turístico.
Now that was a bit special. I have to say that you are brave to question the wife's directions as when I do it I normally get a slap 😂. Another episode that I loved 🤟
I was getting a little stressed with him Steve..! The thing is, they weren't my directions, I just dropped a map pin at the beach area and asked Google Maps to take us there. We have driven down a lot worse roads than that before. 🤣😂🤣 We will have to check the whole route up front when we get the camper. 😬💜🤟
So glad you've commented. We decided to head home and will be heading back to Bolulla this week as there are a few things we want to see in the area... Plus maybe a quick visit to see a certain feathered friend. 🤟♥️
Parece que gran parte de la comida clasificada como "pobre" tiene todos los principales grupos de alimentos cubiertos. Podríamos hacer mucho peor que aprender de nuestros antepasados. Mucho amor, Darren y Alison💜🤟
Now there's a thing... Yes tourists love to complain about tourists, us included. I think we need to define our complaints better instead of using the generic term tourist. For us it's people who show the locations they visit no respect, leave litter for example. For others it may be the volume of people. Really good comment, makes you think ♥️🤟
