Any new technology is expensive.. electric cars are still on average around $30k+ for anything worth buying. For $3k I can build an electric bicycle/"motorcycle" that will do 120mph, but will only have a range of 15mi. if I wanna keep the weight low/lower. At 100kg, a pack could push a bike to 150kph (or much faster a gearing system instead of one drive gear setup & extend the range to about 100-150mi. using re-gen braking. A pedal powered generator could extend that range further by having hooked up to a 21spd or more bicycle gearing setup. Charging as you go, just like the bike in this video. But much cheaper, much cooler (think landspeed motorcycles for the aero-shell) & you could use it in any weather (almost).
brother im thinking to change my keys in my cb gk 37 from red to brown as i have heard brown switches are the same as blue with that tactile feedback but dont have the tik tik sound. do you have any video which can guide me as i have never changed switcches before and dont wanna mess up my new mech keyb. also should i order prelubed or normal brown switches from cosmicbyte?
Yes, browns are tactile switches, great for that typing feedback. You can get the prelubed one. If the keyboard is hot swappable, you can just pull the current switches out using a switch pulling claw and simply push the new switches in. Just align the pinholes on the board with the pins behind the new switches. It's like building Lego.
@@TheHopelessGeek I don't think my keyboard is hot swappable but it mentions on the box that its oetemu swappable (sorry for the spelling cant remember the correct one F). And thanks for the suggestion on the prelubed one.
Oh, if it isn't hot swappable, you'll need to desolder the switch connection from the PCB one by one. I haven't done one of those, but it should be easy if you have the tool
@@sayxe9022 If it's outemu swappable that means it might have outemu hot swap sockets, and if so you can get some switches from akko and they'll fit as they use outemu connection, but I'd actually research more into if your keyboard is hot swap or not instead of buying the switches immedietally
@@XtraKawaii i have the CB GK 37 keyboard and im preety sure i just can plug out the switches and insert new ones. Ik im asking more but can you check once if my keyboard is outemu hot swappable or not
It's more of a jacked-up bicycle. I have never seen a car with pedals, nor have I seen anyone drive one like that😄. But I have indeed seen people ride bikes extensively, who might enjoy something like this, albeit expensive and niche for now.
