He doesn’t rlly use the mark of Caine. Peter kinda just shoves his hand on kraven’s wife’s face and because of his web sticking abilities, he uses it to rip chunks of her face off. Basically a tribute to his brother that they decided to hunt and kill
So Cain originally didn't have the acidic touch thing he literally just ripped their faces off they later added acid to make it less gore heavy this dude also skipped the fact Cain has stingers that inject a paralytic venom intro his enemies natural webs and his death was necessary for him to become the weaver of the web along side madam web who for some reason looks like MJ in that comic
Kaine used it all the time. Peter used it once and was so disgusted by the brutality that he swore never to do it again. And even then he only did it against a villain who actively endangered his family which is Spider-Man No-No #1.
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring." - James 4:14
Hey Dan i was wondering if it's okay to say R.I.P Ben Potter aka Comicstorian. Him and you helped me get into comics and it is sad to hear about someone so young pass away. Please take care of yourself Dan 🙏
Ik i’ve seen a different take on this. It was somebody with superhuman strength and durability. They tore beard clean off with the grip that I was shave no stubble
I thought I was gonna click on this and hear "Spider Man's clone discovers that not only is he a clone, but that the real spider man k*lled himself after losing too much, and the reason he exists is because the world NEEDS a spiderman." or something, sounds like what they'd do and I just came up with it on the spot
Kaine Parker is the best clone in fiction, much less comics. Kaine Parker is one of my favorite low-key comic characters. Kaine deserves to bond with a Symbiote. I want Kaine & Archangel to teamup.
One of the interesting things about this storyline was the Jackal finally got an upgrade in the comics. Before this point, he was just a guy in a costume. But, after the Kaine storyline, he showed that he actually was the superpowered Jackal all along, even explaining it to Peter like a slow child of how an average, middle aged man in a Jackal costume was able to go toe-to-toe with Spider-Man over and over again, without him ever realizing something was off.
Yeah, his name "Kaine" is a dead give away from the Bible character who killed his brother. Also I think Kaine aka Scarlett spider are his stingers and suit design.
Well somebody got some info wrong, which is crazy. You said Caine was able to use the mark due to the genetic engineering done to him. Yet you said the actual spiderman used it too, but he lacks the genetic modifications. Also spidy didn't use the Mark of Caine, he literally tore chunks off her face
I honestly feel bad for Kaine. He's considered a freak to others and the one who created him. And the only ones who love him are Peter and his clone Ben. They see him as family. I love this character and his suit. Because honestly I know how it feels to be different. I hope to more comic runs of him. But what do you think Dan!.😊
So I need to know does this dude have a brother clone named "Abel"? or something cause that would be perfect or at least another Spider clone with such a name cause I mean Cain and Abel if ya get me ya get me : ) Welp have a nice day or night everybody BYE!
i can say that Kaine is one of my favorite spider-mans between the 2 Scarlets cause he doesn't give a damn about Moral code like Peter and never holds back to get the job done, which makes you a raw hero even tho he's pretty damn cruel about it
Same man, I wish he had more than just that 1 20+ issue comic. Idk why they keep bringing back Ben (even tho they turned him into a lame villain) but they never bring back Kaine these days
Ripping off Sasha Kravinoff’s pretty little face was gangsta enough, but telling her “My brother wanted me to give you this” was some next level coldness. Kaine isn’t a bad guy, he’s just been f***ed from the beginning. Between his degeneration and the precognition that showed him various possible futures, he was psychologically disturbed. After his degeneration stopped and he lost his version of a spider-sense, he was a lot better off. Following his resurrection, Kaine gained some truly awesome upgrades. Retractible bone “talons” that can inject poison (they extend from the inside of the wrist like Daken’s middle claw), natural web generation, the ability to communicate with insects and spiders and near-perfect night vision. He also got a major power boost, allowing him to lift 40 tons (which is about 3x Peter’s strength) and a self repairing stealth suit that allowed him to cloak.
Then again Peter's strength has always been inconsistent and vague so we never can truly be sure of an exact value of the ratio between the two spider people.
We need a new story on these characters called "Spider War" 🔥🔥🔥 Where all his evil variants try to kill all the Spidermen/women heroes..... leaving Carnage,Green Goblin, & King Pin to save them. Cause without them there would be no purpose to their worlds🔥. Or w.e reason they have. We see the main villains stand up like "nah only we can kill Spiderman"
Worst part is joker doesn’t even show some of the best parts of Batman. His hand to hand combat and instinct in a fight. Joker is usually down with one punch.
Kaine is a badass and underrated spider man and I've always like Kaine better than ben Reilly and i hope we get a new kaine storyline in the near future
Kane is such an underrated character and I wish we would have gotten his suit in the second game. Also rest in peace Comicstorian, just found out I’m sorry
Also if you really think about it the Spider-Man is probably a little bit worse than a Cane's cuz he asked to use the grip strength along with it compared to having a corrosive burn somebody's face off
Any chance you'll talk about Batman's no kill rule? It always feel artificial to me, like it exist just because that's how it always been. I watched The Batman recently and seeing him brutally beating up random thugs then act like "whoa, we don't do that" to Catwoman when she has a gun is so goofy to me
So the rule did not always exist. In fact, when Batman was originally introduced he carried guns on him. The No Kill rule was the result of the Comics Code Authority. At the end of the day, it is basically an example of how a stupid rule lead to one of the most iconic traits in storytelling history.
Acid burning people and acid burning a material are entirely different. Fabric is already semiporous so it's not a long shot to assume the compound is simply soaking through the suit and onto the victim. Parker has also stated that he uses a thin material for the suit as a handwave to wall crawling
Kraven's children used Kaine as a sacrifice to bring back Kraven but because Kraven was not Peter, the sacrifice was imperfect and Kraven came back immortal. So, the then goaded Peter into killing him again but Peter refused.
