Wonder if Justin knows that as Juggernaut (and I think Hulk) you can actually pick up items from the foreground to throw against your opponents. Juggernaut's stage you can pick up the boxes, captain America's stage you can pick up the rock and I think Shuma Gorath's stage also has a rock. There's a lot of stuff in this game that didn't make it to the final cut.

Still one of my favorite fighting games. They were holding onto the Gems for a long time though. I wouldn’t mind using them as soon as I got them, just to ensure my opponent couldn’t.

The stage design and music were probably at the peak in the series. XvSF dropped a bit the level in stages but kept the same level in music. Presentation reached peak in XvSF but MSH was a big evolution for the time anyways, with that memorable select screen and win screen. In 95 there weren't other jp fgs with art quality in that level.

I think it is called an uncombo in situations with spidey doing a combo but it doesnt show on the counter.

I commend you for still showing the muscles in these other versus titles, but I don't know how you stomach playing any of these games when Marvel VS Capcom 2 exists. Every versus title is like a broken prototype for what would eventually the best versus title ever made, Marvel VS Capcom 2.

True, but for the time the roster was alright. ST has 16 but that was the 5th version. SFA1 and DS1 - forming together with Marvel the new generation of Capcom fgs - were all on that average of roster size.

Marvel Super Heroes and X-Men:cota had by far the best stages and music. MvC2 had the superior roster but the music and stages were uninspired generic trash.
