If you owned the original 90s TransMetal 2 Blackarachnia you'll know that TransArts' removable "bra" is not only a "step" but also a reference to the original toy's OWN removable purple over-bra.

The prodigal son returns. I'm not even mad about the parts forming. Considering how impossible the transformation would have to be to get show accuracy both modes, I think it's a clever idea to make the backpack optionally detachable for show accuracy. It does transform, so it's not as lazy as say, WFC Cliffjumper was. The head as a weapon is a bit of a cop out, but the only real complaint is the chest piece having to be removed with no where to go. I think if they could have sculpted the backpack/ spider abdomen to be able to accommodate it without necessitating removal.

Jobby is really doing 3rd party figures justice, no matter how fragile and flimsy some of these figures are, I'd rather have have a manageable, "affordable", and enjoyable figure than a half-assed official figure. As time goes by 3rd party figures seem to get better too.

Same thing for Gundams but to a smaller degree. A $50 1/100 scale In ERA Ruling or Genesis has more detail and parts than a Bandai 1/100 master grade for the same price (especially considering MG that cheap from Bandai doesn’t really exist anymore, they get released less and less and are also getting more expensive.)

Great review as always Jobby. While it does suck that they're just like this, it's nice to see that I wasn't the only one having issues with the tightness (or rather looseness) of her legs. On a separate note, the Bingotoys Blackarachnia is looking so good now that they've released pictures of the actual figure as opposed to just concepts.

Many hated the "Parts-forming" of any Transformer figure. However, there were so many that were already released since G1 like Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime with their respective detachable trailer and all Combiners have removable hands.

I wouldn't call Optimus Prime's trailer parts-forming: a prime mover doesn't need a trailer to be a complete alt mode, so you can treat it like an accessory rather than an essential part of one mode.

Awesome Review Jobby!^^ She is pretty alright, neat Design and good execution. The Parts Forming is meh but i'll accept it for now. I got Cheetor and Tarantulas from TransArt and yeah...they're good! Have a nice one and take care!^^

Guess ShowZstore will bill me soon for this figure. I kind of figured there'd be some parts forming as the robot mode is way too nice to be able to transform into a spider without it. I chose this over the Takara Tomy version simply because of the arms as I've always hated how her spider legs are part of her arms and this version doesn't do that.

Transarts transmetals are amazing the motor spider aka tarantulas arrived and it’s great with no parts forming outside of the gun wheel which is that parts forming or weapon storage idk but still amazing as a figure

I like both Jobby and Mang’s videos for completely different reasons. I go to Mang’s for the first glimpse at new official and third party Transformers content mixed with a decent soundtrack. I go to Jobby if I want something funny and critical. Mang rarely gives a vitriolic review of a product, though it has happened, check his review of the FansToys FT-54 Powerglide. I can only imagine Jobby chucking the Spaghetti mess of a figure at a wall.

I passed on this one, I'll stick with regular MP from Takara. I'm glad Transart made her first, though. They worked out their spider KINKS so their TM Tarantulas could come out almost perfect 😍

5:26 YES! Rampage has always been my favorite Predacon and I cant fathom why no 3rd party company has tried to tackle him yet. Their witchcraft would most assuredly be able to handle his transformation more accurately than the official toy (which I still have).
